Given the general level of cleanliness in this type of accommodation in India, this is one of the dirtiest I have encountered. I had so many positive opinions that I was encouraged to reserve it. When we arrived, the first thing we found was a large dead lizard on the floor of our room, which the hostel owner left with one foot apart. The floor was disgusting, the bathroom was disgusting, and you didn't want to go to bed that night for anything in the world.

One of the dirtiest places in Rajasthan.

One night spent here, price is very attractive compared to other hotels like Pushkar, perfect for a backpacker budget (the price shown on Tripadvisor is not at all relevant). Nice home, negotiable rates, clean bathroom, hot water, internet, comfortable bed, room is very large.

Good value for money

Seriously, I'm not particularly scrupulous and I know what I can expect for this price, but knowing that the standards of cleanliness and comfort for the GHs in India are what they are, this is the worst of all I've ever been to. The photos are far from reality, when we arrived we were given a room with the floor covered in mud and a lizard corpse in the middle. To the complainants, we were given another that there was no toilet in the bathroom and in which it was disgusting to touch anything. The shower water (cold, obviously, although it is the least at these temperatures), is that it comes and goes when it wants. Of course, the wifi didn't work, and the electrical frame also gave us a little. All this, men who were moving from the front of the light, so that I could not ask for any portion of the food without removing the light, so I could not ask for any portion of the water for it, without removing any part of the light, without removing any part of the food.

It's grossly dirty and without the basic services.

The staff is very friendly and polite. Prices are quite moderate, even in the season of the local Holi festival. The room for two is spacious, the bathroom is also. We had a table, two chairs and another small table. The hotel itself is beautiful and is located very well - a little away from the noisy market. The downside: the restaurant on the roof didn't work, you can just sit there anyway) Hot water is there, but sometimes it's not at all. For example, when I came back from the festival, the entire hall was painted and dirty. Once the electricity went out for a whole night and a half a day.

It's budget-friendly, but not perfect.

Only positive point about this hotel is the location, just 2mins walk to lake and 5 min walk to BRAHMA temple.Bedsheets dirty,pillows and covers dirty, no room service,no toiletries, dirty floors. Terrace cafe is there but almost non functional. No parking space. Free WiFi. Please avoid if with family. Don't believe on the advert and pics. Lake visible from the terrace. Good view. 

Dont expect anything!!

The room was dirty, there was no towel, no soap, service on the roof terrace was unfriendly and very dirty, we wanted to order a Coke, the waiter odet whoever it was just slipped lazy in the chair and delegated it! impossible place I can't recommend at all!

The disaster

I stayed here many times and after renovation it looks awesome and service was as good as before. Pandey ji was always very helpful and make sure we have no problem. This time Pushkar lake was full and view from roof top was just amazing...

Nice look after renovation...

We're used to guesthouses in India that aren't always very clean, they're a little old... but that's the worst. In the first room, the smell of moisture in the bathroom was unbearable and most importantly: there were blood stains on the wall! Not better for the second room, room and bathroom that were very dirty. An ant: in the bathroom, ants all over the room. A cockroach in the bathroom. The rooms smell bad, the walls are very dirty (brown stains in the bathroom) and decayed (see photos...) The hotel had no generator/reserve of water.

It's awful!

We have a wonderful stay here at Mamaluna, The best thing about this hotels is it is close to all the main sights like Pushkar Lake, Brahama Temple and Fair Ground, even after it is very quiet. Room was nice and with clean bathroom. Staff is very familiar and cooperative.Will definitely stay again soon...

Very Cool Place...

Very nice location very near from fair ground and also very close to Brahma Temple in Pushkar. Hotel was very great with all basic facility and it's decoration was very lovely. Rooms was very nice coloured and the soft bed gave us a nice and long sleep in night. I fully enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Highly recommended....
