I was overwhelmed deciding where to stay on Santorini.   There were so many lovely properties to choose from.  I really wanted a view of Oia and its white buildings sprawling up the hillside.   When I inquired about the views I was told that all rooms had good views.  I took a leap of faith and booked.   I sit here today on our final day, still in awe.   The view’s are spectacular, the staff is warm and inviting, the food delicious and a stroll to the town center is only 15 minutes away.  If we are fortunate enough to return to Santorini, we will return to Ikies!

Ikies has to be the BEST accomodation in Santorini. My husband and I stayed in the winemaker's suite and it was absolutely perfect. The view is unmatched, literally breathtaking.. it was very hard to leave!! The staff are so friendly and they work hard to make sure you have the best experience possible. Kristina and Katerina at the reception desk were especially great and we enjoyed chatting with them each day! If we ever find ourselves in Santorini again, we would not think to stay anywhere else. Thank you so much!!

This was the most amazing place we have ever stayed! From the extremely personable staff (Katerina, Mario, christina, etc.) to the gorgeous views, it was incredible!! Perfect location as you are a short walk from downtown Oia, avoid the crowds, and have the best view! We seriously cannot get over it.

My husband and I just spent 3 glorious days and 4 nights at this absolute gem of a hotel. Every single staff person went out of their way to welcome us and to make our stay a perfect and relaxing time. Christina in the reception was always there and offered a lot of helpful information and caring assistance. Her best recommendation was the in house dining. The breathtaking view that every balcony/patio has makes this a wise decision, but the amazing food makes it the only place we ever wanted to eat for dinner!  Our room was immaculate and roomy (we stayed in the Cook’s Suite that had 2 floors and 2 full bathrooms). There was a refrigerator filled with liters of water and a complimentary bottle of delicious Santorini white wine. Nespresso machine, teas, coffees, wine and water glasses, etc all provided. The included breakfast is simply perfect as you choose your food from a very large menu the day before. As I mentioned, the food is incredibly delicious, the two in-house chefs are masterful and top notch. Every ingredient they use tastes fresh and home made. Even the jams tasted homemade! Our final evening meal was delightful. Grilled shrimp, Greek Salad, Arugala and fig salad in a Parmesan “nest”. But the grilled vegetables and halloumi cheese stole the show; it looked like it should be on the cover of a culinary magazine, but it tasted even better. I have a photo of that final dinner with the sunset in the background. It’s a photo that I will turn to, just to remind me what a fabulous experience we had at this beautiful and perfect place. Just one more thing, the owner was one of the nicest people we got to meet in Greece. He described how he and his family had recently renovated the property. The quality of the work that he did is evident in every corner of the hotel. We will miss the lovely staff, Christina, Fred, Kostas, and the many others who were so kind and helpful, too many to name here. We hope to return of course!

Ikies was terrific. Spectacular views. Nothing can beat the delicious breakfast on your room’s patio with a perfect view of the Caldera. Staff is magnificent, especially Katerina. It was nice seeing the owner on the property. It made the experience even more personable. Be aware there can be lots of steps but no different than other caldera hotels. A great experience!

My sisters & I absolutely loved staying here at Ikies Boutique Hotel. We were just outside of the hustle & bustle of Santorini where it was much quieter, private and offered beautiful views of the caldera & sunset. The room was perfect & we had our own jacuzzi pool & ate breakfast outside each morning.  We had dinner one night on our deck and watched the sunset, which was stunning!  The staff  was amazing and so accommodating.  The owner even stopped by to to make sure we were happy with our accommodations and on our last day sent us over a couple of pieces of the delicious baklava which was out of this world. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again

This is the only choice for a stay in Santorini! It’s at the edge of town and a very short walk into the busy town of Oia, but it truly feels like a world of its own. Peaceful, quiet, amazing food, amazing rooms, amazing views. We had a delicious dinner on our private patio two of the three nights we stayed, then soaked in the hot tub after with glasses of wine, taking in the sunset and then the  spectacular lights of Oia. We could have gone into town, but why would we, with the best of everything right where we were? The owner just happened to be visiting during our trip and he was incredible and very helpful. If we could give Ikies ten stars we would! Highly recommend.

We were very unsure where to stay in Santorini but are so glad we picked this hotel. The location is just outside the busy area of Oia but has a perfect viewpoint of the whole town from the caldera. Easy walk into town if you like, but the sunset is amazing from the room as well. Friendly staff and great food round it out. Would definitely stay again if we make it back here someday.

We had a fantastic stay here. The hotel is in the best location which allows you to see all of Oia and still be able to walk easily into town. The staff were all fantastic. Our room was clean and modern. Great breakfast brought every morning to the patio overlooking the caldera.

The hotel view is simply breathtaking. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The rooms are freshly and beautifully refurbished, and each room has its own personalised theme. I highly recommend ordering in on one of the nights and enjoy the spectacular views and sunset from your terrace. Overall, our experience was unforgettable, and I hope we will get the chance to return soon. Highly recommended.
