Santorini Palace

My wife and myself stayed 4 nights at this hotel and couldn’t have been more pleased. As soon as we stepped into the lobby we were greeted with smiles and a most pleasant staff. Most of our dealings with reception were with Lena who was absolutely fantastic. Professional, informative, patient/helpful with our many questions and so very friendly. She helped us rent a car, book excursions and make reservations offering helpful advice and tips. We felt welcomed and comfortable right away. Thank you Lena. There was also a man, a bigger fellow(compliment wise) who helped with the bags and showed us to our room. I’m embarrassed I can’t remember his name. He brought us to the wrong room and a few minutes later had to return to let us us know…he was so apologetic, but we’re east going and told him many times it’s minor and please don’t worry about it. He was great and gave us a tip about trying Tavernas Simos right next door to the hotel which turned out to be great advice as the food, staff, prices at Simos were great…we loved the place. We had a sea view room with a plunge pool. It was quite perfect. The room was modern and spacious. The A/C definitely worked well. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The shower and toilet were separate which was a huge plus and the shower was amazing. Our room was right above a busy road, but we liked it as sitting on patio or in plunge pool we could people watch and still look out on the Aegean. The road could be a little loud, but when you were in room with patio doors closed you couldn’t hear it so we slept wonderfully. Breakfast had many different options so there was something for everyone regardless of their tastes. I can’t think of anything negative to say about our stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here. One more thing…it’s in a wonderful location. Access to the bus stop, Fira and the Caldera are right there…you can’t ask for anything more.
