Excellent for a getaway to clear your head, I would recommend staying here if you have you own transportation available, stayed for only one night but wished to say forever

A peaceful place where you can have a holiday under the olive trees. The owner Sofia is very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. We were happy, we will definitely come again.

Everything about Olive Grove was really fine; the houses, those friendly cats and dogs around, the surrounding itself and the area around the hotel meaning green and blue all around and few but perfect taverns to dine which are very, very near. The way to Gera may seem a bit far away from the centrum at first - and the road is a bit bumpy and dark at nights; but after you get to know the island you will also think that it is one of the best places to stay in Lesvos. %100 recommended. (It was very hard to get the signal for the Wi-Fi at the room we stayed. A booster must certainly be bought by the hotel. That was the only negative thing during the whole stay of ours.)

The room was fantastic with authentic construction and tasteful decor. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony and view of Gera Bay was incredible. The setting in the olive grove was very relaxing.  Alex and staff were extremely accommodating and helpful, making for an unforgettable travel experience. Also, nice breakfast for nominal cost.

this is an ideal place for anyone seeming peace and quite in a great setting. I loved the place.

The place is welcomy and very clean, tastefully decorated with local ar and nice pieces, the owner is very helpful with any request and great breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room with a nice view.

Gera Olive Grove is my place in Lesvos.

The Gulf of Gera which Gera's Olive Grove overlooks is the most beautiful gulf on the island. Gera's Olive Grove sits on 30 acre's, and is surrounded by olive trees, the various types of accommodation are very impressive from self catering suite to family villa's, all with amazing views of The Gulf of Gera. Our host Alex and his staff are very warm and welcoming nothing was to much to ask. Breakfast's daily are in a beautifully appointed reception building with stunning views overlooking The Gulf, you can dine on the veranda or inside. The breakfast's are delicious, Alex brings fresh orange juice,  tomatoes grown on the property, cheeses, olives, cucumber, boiled eggs, lovely breads and cakes. Alex has my lovely anamils on the property from the happy faced dogs to cats, a horse, 2 beautiful donkeys and goats, all of which you can hand feed and pat. Gera's Olive Grove also has its own beach for a refreshing swim anytime of the day. We hope to return next summer. Thank you Alex for such an enjoyable stay.

Lovely room, great manager, and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Gera’s Olive Grove lived up to its reputation as a wonderful peaceful place. Our hostess was lovely and directed us to a great place to eat in nearby Avlonas (incredibly good and amazingly cheap Greek homecooking but it’s only open Saturday and Sunday evenings). This is a quiet part of the island with not many tourists. The Olive Grove has a horse and donkey, dogs, kittens and goats as well as the wildlife – we loved the swallows and bats and the eagles flying overhead. It must be a paradise for the birders in spring and autumn (we saw a black stork flying over the Gera marsh). The kitchen unit is well equipped and the studios beautifully designed. Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast much appreciated.

We loved it because it was small, hidden and authentic. It was great for a non-touristy stay and suited us perfectlt. It may not suit people who want a pool and to be nearer 'English' resorts like Molivos. Great authentic tavernas nearby at great value.NB - It is not 4 km from airport (not a problem for us) but should be clearer that due to sea it is 35+ km.

A+ Stay, %100 Recommended.

Location little bit faraway to city center but nature and atmosphere peaceful and beautiful. Its front of the beach they have huge garden with some farm animals (donkey, horse, goat etc...). If you want to rest and isolate from the modern city life this is the correct address, cleaning is not so bad but not the best in the room. May be beacause of season opening but in our room we had mushrooms on the floor (most probably from the humidity), on the other hand it has clean toilet and equipments.

Peaceful

I spent two nights at Gera’s Olive Grove after arriving on the island and am so glad I did! After 32 hours of travelling it was a pleasure to be able to relax and recuperate. Their little cafe where you can enjoy meals overlooks the beautiful Gera Peninsular and they are welcoming and hospitable without being intrusive. The gardens are lovely and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Highly recommend as a stopover.
