Christina Studios

A little hidden gem in the heart of Mykonos. Newly renovated and perfect spot and easy to get around to little Venice, port or the bus stop for the trips to the beach. You can sit and relax in the courtyard away from the hustle and bustle of cruise ship tourists making their rounds. Also the outdoor cinema is right next door.

Superb location in middle of town, next to outdoor cinema. Can’t beat location. Recently renovated cosy rooms, fridge & airconditioning, and great under-bed storage. Nice quiet area outside rooms to relax

We arrived early and were allowed to leave our bags and explore the town.  The room was clean and very central.  Many people were stopping to take pictures of the little courtyard as it looks so typical of what you expect to see in Mykonos.  We were allowed to leave our bags as well on our check out day as we had time before flying out which was helpful.  The cinema next door is a bit loud but it did not bother us.  Wifi works fine but sometimes slow when too many people using it.  Really sweet and pleasant housekeeper.

Around 15 mins from the Mykonos Airport (we paid Euro 15 to the taxi)- the taxi driver will leave u till a spot and from there you need to walk straight for 5-8 mins to reach Christina Studios (we used google maps to get the exact coordinates for the Studio). Its a family run service studio - basic clean room with comfortable beds/ washroom (rooms were enough for 2 people for their 2 luggage), and located very close to the Little Venice and Old Port area.

Stayed here for 2 nights and the place was perfect for us - right in between all the major attractions - be it the Matogianni street, the old port area or the windmills or the cafes/ restaurants. Everything was in walking distance to us. They even have a nice sit out with greenery around. 

One should call the host a day before such that they are around to hand you the keys. Inform them about your arrival time. We also got an early check-in at 11.15 am (we had intimated them a week back about early check in).

We paid Euro 110 for 2 nights including taxes. 

Positives:
-Location is the best - if you are travelling for 2-3 nights 
- The host / cleaner speak English so you are comfortable
- Room gets cleaned daily and fresh towels provided including the shower gel and soap
- Not noisy or crowded (despite in the main area) - one gets a good night cap
- Payment can be made in either cash or through credit card - the host family stays on the first floor
- Hair dryer, locker and a fridge in the room
- Convenience shops close by - for water/ juice/ breakfast items.

Negatives
- washroom was too small for my liking

Overall a pleasant happy stay for us.

The location is excellent and perfect for easy access to everywhere you need to go and everything you need is in walking instance. Friendly cleaning lady and comfortable rooms with nice amenities Ike coffee facilities, refrigerator and nice towels.

Mykonos is a very expensive island, so if you are looking for simple, basic and reasonably priced accommodation, Christina Studios is probably a good choice for a night or two. It is in a good central location, we had some noise in our room due to the open air cinema which right next door, but I do not think this would be a problem in the other rooms.

We stayed in Chrisina Studios for 3 days at the begining of June. It was reasonably cheap option comparing to most what Mykonos has to offer, though our expectations were not very high, though we are very happy with choosing Christina Studio. Our apartment was not very spacious, but renovated, fresh and clean. We have all amenities, towels were changed everyday and room was cleaned everyday during our stay. Property is very well located in the very centre of lovely Mykonos town- full of restaurants, bars and boutiques. Perfect spot for a short stay! I can definitely recommend it!

Christina Studios is not a hotel, that means - no service. So if you do not need any services, this is the place to be for a couple of days in Mykonos. Value of money. Very good location for walk around the town. This place is for those that they want to stay in Mykonos for 1-2 nights and then they will travel to other islands. If you travel by airplane, take the taxi, its 10 euro and they drop you to the bus station, from there 5 minutes walk to Christina Studios. If you travel by boat, take the sea bus, its 2 euro and they drop you to the old port, from there 5 minutes walk to Christina Studios.

This was a weird experience. The host was entering our room while we were sleeping cause she wanted to get some things eg. Iron! Our check-out was until 11.30 and she came and woke us up at 9:00 for really no reason. Also at check-out the owner asked us for 2 euros with no explanation. The cleaner did not enter our room for 2 whole days and left us with the same towels. Not recommended
