I have stayed about 20 times over the past 10 years, basically everytime I need to visit the Cologne and surrounding area on business. There is always a friendly welcome, the rooms are spacious and very clean, and the food in the restaurant is excellent (and large portions!). It is a pleasant 10 minute walk to/from the nearest railway station (Schladern). It might be a little tricky to find if driving there for the first time without GPS but once you know where it is then it is not a problem. I look forward to my next stay.
