Hafner Hotel- Apartment

This is a very clean, friendly, well priced hotel. It is not the Ritz and if you want that you pay the Ritz prices but the rooms we stayed in were airy and perfect for the weekend stay whilst visiting the area. It is ideally placed - on the main train service from the airport and 5 people got there on the multi persons ticket for up to 5 people for 19 euros. We used the ticket later in the evening to travel into a different area of the city too! The underground is also close for more local travel and again had the same offer for 5 people. We stayed in a 2 and 3 bedded room and the three bedded room had the bed in a little room within the main room. Ok it was small and basically had just the bed in but perfect for us this weekend, Breakfast was good with a selection of meat, cheeses, bread, fruit, yogurts, tea and coffee etc. Quite a few bars etc in the area too but need to take care in a local Greek bar that will bring you shots of ouzo you have not asked for and you think they are being friendly but then charge you quite a large price for them when you get your bill at the end ! No air con that could be a problem later in the summer but it was ok this weekend in the late 20's (degrees)sunny weather. Wi fi ok but was not working the day we arrived but we were told of this and offered a few drinks. Hairdryers in the rooms which was good and always a good thing to know!
