We stayed in the Windjammer with a group of travelers for the state garden show and we felt very comfortable there. The sleeping comfort was very good, we had a room on the first floor opposite the entrance with a view to the yard or in the green. The room was very large. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was also fine. Coffee tasted very good. The buns were from the baker (Sunday). The staff were very friendly and kind. Only something had to be combined with the seats when eating, but it was not enough. Overall, you can only reach the hotel with a calm conscience if you stay and have breakfast. We would have liked to have had dinner in the hotel in the evenings, but unfortunately it was not set up well in the other places. Until then, it was not possible to get to the hotel with a quiet conscience, but if you stay and have breakfast, you can only get to the hotel in the evening.

Very good accommodation

The Windjammer Hotel is located about 2 km from the centre of Papenburg in a quiet area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a double room on the first floor at the end of the hall. On the first floor there is also the breakfast/restaurant room. The room was large enough, there was a cupboard and enough storage space for suitcases etc. Everything was very clean. The shower in the bathroom was recently redesigned. There is a rainshower and a handbrush. For breakfast there were various sausages and cheeses, fresh fruit, jelly, marmalade, etc., except for very cooked eggs. We were toasted in the windjammer.

I 'd love to go back.

The host couple were very friendly and helpful, and their wishes and problems were immediately taken care of. The breakfast was fine, the dinner was a good home-cooked meal. We were less pleased with the dark room on the ground floor, clean and tidy, but decorated quite simply and unattractive. The bathroom is tiny and has a very loud ventilation, the constant smell of sewage was also uncomfortable. The hotel is at a noisy crossroads where there is a lot of traffic even on the weekends, we couldn't sleep with the open windows.

A friendly host, but very noisy.

Family-run, (very friendly and helpful). Very clean, beautiful new bathrooms, small but fine! Everything is very clean. The breakfast (as well as the entire price) is very good in relation. In the breakfast room you can still get a sack in the evening, but also a capuccino or tea. But the best thing is the freshly soaked pillow! I feel comfortable here and that is the best thing to say about a hotel on business trips.
