Unfortunately, the price level is not the same as what was offered. No breakfast included and even our room under the roof was too small, too tiny for 2 people, but the bathroom was pretty big! There's a massive problem with water... there's only cold water... and putting a note in the bathroom that after 2 minutes of running water then the hot or warm water comes doesn't correspond to the fact. After 3 minutes we gave it up and got a HUGE HOT DISH. Unfortunately we don't really recommend it.

The hotel is a pure sleeping place! No breakfast, no service, the reception is only occupied for a limited time. The rooms are simply furnished and hanging on every corner with signs of prohibition and restraint. If you want to talk to someone, there are cell phone numbers. The house is very bright. It's not gonna happen to us.

The rooms are very small and you can hardly find room for the suitcase. Since the house is quite old, the rooms heat up quickly in the summer. The ventilator also hardly helps. Fortunately, the shower provides quick cooling, as the water does not warm until after several minutes. The hotel does not have a restaurant and therefore no breakfast is offered. I would like to mention the very friendly staff positively.

Not recommended on hot summer days.

We were on the first floor, and the Wi-Fi was working well, the bedroom, twin beds, was correct, very clean, we can, if you want, regret the absence of breakfast, but we knew that, and the absence of private parking, but it's very easy to park on the Schillerstraße.

The hotel is a clean place to sleep! No breakfast buffet, no service, reception occupied only for a limited time. If you want to talk to someone, there are cell phone numbers. The house is very bright. The rooms are Spartan and there are ban and warning signs hanging on every corner. The bathroom in my room was taped from the floor to the ceiling with a PVC layer. Even after a long effort, with all the tricks, the water didn't get warm. The heating in the room went out at about 23:00 and didn't work until the departure at 7:00 in the morning. The head cushions are something people love for it hard out. The parking in the hotel yard is not allowed. Please look for a parking space just above the hotel's entrance gate for money.

Never again.

The owner is the good soul of the house. You feel wonderful right away! The room, back out, clean and a well-kept bathroom. The bed, I came home at 4:00 from work. Just wanted to read, pack, sleep until 8:00 in the morning! WLAN there, TV there, little table and chairs. Dear Kim Johnson, repeat factor note 1 when I come by LU again! Nice would be a breakfast... Nice, well-maintained house

The hotel staff really makes you feel at home.  It's really this which sets Hotel Oggersheimer Hof apart from staying in a bigger hotel.  The accommodations are basic, but sufficient.  Everything is there to enjoy your stay and leave a lasting positive impression!  I would definitely return, if given the chance. I have recommended it to colleagues who may also travel there for business.

Highlights about the area:  
-quiet town -- safe for walking at day/night.  
-enough restaurant options within 10-15 min walk (for a 1 week stay)
-near grocery stores
-across the street from a decent breakfast / coffee shop
-10 min walk to tram / strassenbahn
-30 to 40 min tram ride from Oggersheim to either the wine country or to larger city
-parking... I didn't have a car for my 2 week visit, but enjoy walking / tram

Side notes:

Mannheim / Heidelberg is where you may need to head for sight-seeing / night-life.  I was there in the winter,so everything was pretty much closed up by 10.  This was also the case with Bad Durkheim, btw. While Bad Durkheim is worth checking out, as it's a beautiful town, and this is part of their wine region, I didn't get that same "at-home" feeling while staying there.  It felt very touristy.  Also, the transportation in Bad Durkheim is a definite step down, due to the reduced frequency (Oggersheim's tram remains frequent every 10-15 min while Bad Durkheim is every hour during non-rush hour times).
