Great food. For years and not even dissatisfied! The stone mushroom is super spicy, noodle fish or butcher's plate no matter what, it's super delicious prepared with the best ingredients and absolutely honest food. Beautiful wines... where there's ice cream meringue or egg liqueur, a country inn without snack.

It's just super cool, not to mention anything.

We went to the house to eat wild food, and we paid our full expenses. The staff was friendly and attentive. We sat on the terrace. The noise from the adjacent farmhouse disturbed us a little. However, there was no reason not to come back. The prices are slightly raised but justified.

Best cuisine in a rural atmosphere

There were 11 of us and we started with a great sparkling wine from Weingut Frey in Denzlingen. Then we got a bib lettuce salad with a great dressing.  Switched to an Auxerrois from Weingut Huber. One of the best fresh white wines I have ever had. The next course was lobster ravioli - a dream! Then we went on to lobster from Britanny with basmati rice and Asian veggies. For dessert we had Creme brûlée. 
Dinner and service couldn’t have been better. 

A fantastic special birthday dinner

An invitation to the hitherto unknown guesthouse Krone in Freamt with an indication of the excellent kitchen. The service was very attentive and very friendly. It went fast and yet without any excitement. (Despite the full dining room) The drinks were well chosen. The food was Ok. The field salad was good but not very good. This also applies to the soup. I ordered the first time fasana and was very excited. Potato puffer, even steamed, was delicious, the herb and the sauce were also good. The fasana was rather dry, toothed, several pieces of candy and finally I still bit on a metallic peel (ca 1 mm) in the flesh. My wife was just too frightened, maybe I was too frightened.

Good cuisine

We were here for dinner, and we were in the comfortable room, five of us, the food was delicious, the portions were sufficient, the service was friendly, the prices reasonable.

Very good cuisine, reasonable prices

The food was very tasty, of high quality, and well worth the price. I perceived the boss as intrusive, just unpleasant. In the future, please take a step back and do not get too close to the guests. Please come again and hope that the criticism will be taken to heart.

Honest criticism

For the past few years we have been repeatedly guests in the crown. The next room is uncomfortable, the entrance area is anything but inviting. We are always satisfied with the food, it is no snack, but good, the prices are reasonable. The young women in the service are very friendly and elegant. For this reason the boss is very wordy and has no sense of humor, and always comes only to checkout. We hope that our tip, which was meant for the nice service, will actually land. On the way through it is worth stopping there, otherwise it is a little too far away.

After 2017, we were eating goose-eating in this inn. The food was a poem. It was just all right. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely come back on our next visit.

A Visit Worthwhile

For Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was full, but we still got a nice seat, and the menu offered a wide selection of fish and meat dishes, and the staff was very friendly, and the price-performance ratio could be a little lower.

After all, the service was quick and - still small - it was not necessary to have a free dinner. In the main hall - despite reservations - and we were seated at a table in the almost empty next room - this hall had the charm of a train hall with nipples - old storehouses, white-covered, old storehouses with new service... here is just a hint. We decided to pay for the best recipes and as a home-cooked recipes (1x) for this particular sausage and 1x sauce and 1x sauce but these two sauces were not served afterwards.
