Hotel Pullman Tbilisi Axis Towers

We stayed at the Pullman for a week at the beginning of October and it is such an incredible architectural marvel of a hotel. I hope whoever designed it received a lot of awards because it really is just so beautiful. (and the cleaners deserve a Nobel peace prize too because despite being gigantic everywhere is somehow spotless!) The rooms (we had one of the suites) are huge and have insane views spanning all across the city owing to the floor to ceiling glass windows on all sides. At times we didn't even want to leave the hotel because we were so mesmerized by being able to people watch everyone going about their day outside! Underneath the hotel, there's an equally flash supermarket in a shopping complex (i assume built at the same time as part of the Axis development) so every morning we had the chance to go down and get fresh croissants from the bakery. Outside of this, the hotel is located in the business area of Tbilisi (Vake) which felt considerably less overrun with tourism than the Old Town, while still within walking distance of a number of great restaurants and cafes. (A major + in my parents' eyes!) All of the staff were super friendly and helpful - not to mention that they went out of their way to bring me a very tasty kiwi cake & some legendary Georgian wine for my birthday which was beyond generous and hugely appreciated. Overall, the whole stay was a dream & i can't recommend the Pullman highly enough. Anyone reading this, this is your sign to visit immediately - you won't regret it!
