Small hotel with a nice setting... very clean and pleasant rooms with everything necessary, and very professional and kind lady of the hotel... small hotel that is really worth a visit... quiet... place to park... welcome... to re-design... address to keep

A well deserved rest

Ideal for a stopover, after a weekend return, this hotel has met our expectations. The reception is very friendly and relaxed, the room is spacious, the motel-type decoration with many mechanical references is very original. A restaurant located right next to the Butcher's is open on a Sunday evening allowing you to have a meal without taking the car, enjoyable after a long road.

Ideal for a stopover

Outside the hotel is not the most glamorous but this is not why we stop. Two steps from Nevers, it perfectly fulfils its function of accommodation. The decoration is original and friendly. It is felt that there has been a real effort on this side. Our room was spacious and pleasant. The bathroom, with bathtub as well. The big positive point is the availability, sympathy and usefulness of the property owner who always answered us with extreme kindness and a big smile. Thank you again!

Very clean hotel, spacious room, nice bathroom, plenty of breakfast, reception and nice breakfast room. Nice, warm, friendly owners, at your service. Comfort and charm of a private hotel at the price of a modest hotel chain. I will be back!!!!

Stage Hotel

The price might suggest otherwise but this rather basic looking establishment situated on a modestly busy highway  is well located to Nevers by road and the velo cycleway. Rooms are spacious with separate bathroom and toilet. The motel is bit cavernous so some echo can occasionally be heard but is on the margin only. A supermarket is across the street and otherwise there is limited immediate shopping
Would return tomorrow if need arose.

A positive surprise

One stop in this hotel for a birthday, we spent one night. When we booked our first contact with the property, super nice, with extreme kindness, he was listening to our needs. We had a little bit of the world in conversation the next morning. It was nice to be listening. The simple, spacious room, very clean, a bathroom with toilet, a tub with a shower. 2 beds, 1 in 140 and 1 in 90. The free wifi without code. The decor is great. The happiness. We were awakened the next day by a pleasant warm growing feeling. For us it is about, if we ever get the chance to come back to the area again, we'll go back to the room without a shower.

It's a really nice hotel.

A group of us stayed here for a few nights in October 17. This was the closest hotel to the circuit at Magny Cours with availability, about 20 mins drive from the circuit and about 10 from Nevers.

It's being/been modernised and/or decorated and clearly getting better than some photos on here from previous times would suggest.

All our rooms were clean and well looked after. However, the shower was in the bath and it was a leap of faith to turn on the shower once trapped in there, not knowing whether it would scald you or not. Just the merest hint of turning the hot tap on would usually produce critically hot water, luckily at a pathetic pressure or else we'd have all received 3rd-degree burns.
Towels only changed every 2/3 days. Scant toiletries provided.

Apart from the being scalded every morning and evening episode, not an unpleasant place to stay. Beds pretty basic, rooms spartan but importantly all clean. There's a 'Boucherie' chain restaurant next door which is convenient, but we didn't use it. And we didn't try breakfast either, but there was a room with some bread and croissants next to a coffee machine...

Not very good. But clean.

Good spacious rooms and adequate off-road parking. Restaurants nearby but next door "Cow Bar" was very disappointing.
