The studio is clean, well-equipped, simple and elegant, the bed is comfortable. The terrace in front of the cathedral is really top! A perfect place to relax, write, enjoy. Studio ideally located, with views. A few small bemoons: a busy and therefore noisy street, and a lot of noise in the evening in the restaurant until late. The shower bed would be worth changing. No welcome, but it can be particularly suitable for discreet travelers like us!

Tip top

Apartment at the top! Nothing to say about cleanliness! Do nothing to say at all! No noise no problems! Rework and advise! Besides, the owners are easily reachable for any questions.

On top of it!

Ideally located, nearby municipal parking, good bedding, only positive points. For the rest, in the works (and there is a great need) according to comments dating back to 2012 this was already the case at the time and it didn't go much further. Large choice of building materials at the bottom of the stairs... Home nonexistent, we received our key directly into the room when we arrived, and we left it in the same place when we left. Don't wait for a custom welcome, with a small pipe on the exits to make in the corner, there's no one to welcome you. No hot water in the morning, minimal shower.

The experience of living only once

But the smell of sewage in the room coming from the bathroom, unfortunately, according to the neighbors... despite a report the direction remained unobtrusive. Showering proved impossible. To avoid. At this price it is better to choose the ibis or comfort is ensured and professional hospitality.

We arrived with no great expectations but had numerous things go wrong... The worst was no running water in the shower and the toilet cistern water kept running all night! We couldn’t contact reception. When someone appeared 9.30am & I asked for help, she eventually told us that the shower problem was beacause there was“no water” yet there was water available from the tap in the basin. We went out for breakfast then as we returned we were asked to leave our room at 10.30am sharp... She knocked on the door at 10.31am insisting we leave & waited at the door till we collected the last of our belongings so we could hand her the key! Although our French wasn’t great, we thought we would have been treated with a little more respect!

Worst Hotel experience ever

We spent two nights in a small, refurbished studio in the hotel. Very clean and very comfortable. The hotel is ideally located opposite the historic center and the view of the cathedral is very pleasant.

Very well located

The building is old, and although it has some renovated elements, there are things from the last century! The dirty doors and walls full of scurvy. The staircase full of cables, because they must be renovating the electrical system.... In the middle of August, they only have a reception for 2 hours.

Fatal, fatal.

No welcome. The hotel is working on electrical wires that are dragging. The room is rotten painting scaffolded.

we don't have to go

Just checked in to a room for €50 a night. I’m told this is amazing price, but based on the couple I’m with getting a renovated room for the same price, my dingy, dated room doesn’t see so good. Also, I was informed by the lady on reception that the spiders’ webs and dead insects decorating the walls in my room are due to the fact that it is ‘old’. I pointed out the fact that age and cleanliness are not mutually exclusive. I was, however, offered a ‘clean’ room upstairs for €75. How very kind. If you want to stay somewhere clean and newly renovated, perhaps avoid this hotel!

Poor hygiene due lack of renovation I’m told

It is true that it is a set of very old buildings that are being reformed little by little. There are still very neglected areas but the apartment that they gave us was recently reformed, was spacious and gracefully decorated. The stairs to climb impossible but with personality. I hope that with the reform they are doing the saquen party because it has many possibilities. The staff are friendly but not always. The breakfast is simple and you demands but at a very good price.
