What a gem of a hotel on the outskirts of Lyon. This Marriott hotel is not to be missed due to its location next to Tête park and on the river, but also it’s superb rooms and exceptional staff. We arrived early but the check in staff were so wonderfully polite and super friendly and checked us in. We were offered a complimentary cheese plate and wine for being loyal members of the Marriott group. The room overlooked the park and was airy and spacious, with floor to ceiling windows. Bath robes and slippers were in the wardrobe ready for the powerful shower and lovely bathroom. The cheese and wine was delivered in 20 mins and was delicious. Breakfast in the zucca restaurant was superb and worth a visit anytime. The staff were fab and the food was amazing. Everything you could think of was available. Transport links are easy with the bus stop 50m away. Direct service to different parts of the city with tram and metro connections nearby. Overall a fantastic stay, in a great location, superb staff and fabulous food and facilities. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
