Very good welcome from Florent... good cuisine, very satisfied with our dishes, Florent the waiter is in the least care... one star less for the price, a little more expensive than the average Corsican... but the quality is the one with a superb panoramic view of the port of Porto, I recommend your eyes closed

Very good restaurant.

A beautiful setting overlooking the harbour, the interior and the exterior are beautiful, excellent service, a 5-star kitchen, tasty and very well presented.

It's extraordinary.

We stayed in one of the Panorama furnishings. The location in the Marina de Porto is perfect. The amenities are very correct and the accommodation quite acceptable. A perfect balance between cost and service.

Excellent quality/price/situation

Superb setting, terrace overlooking the Porto Tower and the sea, delicious local produce, attentive staff and impeccable service, we had a great evening at a reasonable price.

Corsican dinner

We booked a studio: all the equipment is there, but I regret my choice, because I found that it lacked comfort and a reception that could be + warm. A sofa bed is not worth a real studio bed (although it is equipped with a bultex mattress), the decor and equipment are well there, but it is not convenient: plates, blankets and pots are in the TV furniture! The crayfish wall ends up in dust on the sheets, the 1 place accessories do not allow to make a very comfortable bed. There is nothing missing to make it a little more welcoming. For those who like this option of studio furniture I will say, at a medium price, I prefer a hotel further away for the same.

It's all there but nothing more

The apartment was spacious and had a good view but it was not well maintained. It might be a ok choice for a family on a budget.  We found the management not that available to provide information on the area.  Never received fresh towels, no hair dryer, no soap so make sure you bring these items with you.  There were no tea or coffee cups but there were plenty of dishes.  Make sure you bring coffee filters to!  

The town was filled with tourists and honestly lacked the charm of surrounding towns and villages.  The restaurant food was uninspiring.

Not what you would expect

Porto is a very attractive small town on the west coast of Northern Corsica. If you fancy a break from hotels, Le Panorama could be an alternative as it offers flats and studios for rent at reasonable price.

The studio I rented at the beginning of October 2012 was not big but absolutely fine for two people. "Le Panorama" is situated in the centre of Porto, near the harbour. The views from the very large windows of the studio were second to none: mountains, harbour, cliffs, beach and the sea!

The studio on the ground floor is modern, clean and equipped with basic but comfortable furniture: sofa bed, TV, dresser, lamps in the living/bedroom. Sheets and blankets are provided.

The kitchen has a fridge, micro wave oven, electric cooker, electric kettle, kitchen sink, table, chairs, washing machine and dishwasher. Plates, glasses ...etc... are there too. There is all you need for cooking simple meals and have leisurely breakfast enjoying the views.

The bathroom has a sink, mirror, shower and WC. Towels are provided. 

The building is modern, fairly new and the studio was clean.

If you don't fancy cooking, there is a restaurant right next to the hotel and many more in the street and the town.

The owners are welcoming and most helpful.

Porto like all the popular places in Corsica are best visited out of season (May-June and September-October) when the temperature is ideal and when the restaurants, car parks ..etc... are not overcrowded with tourists. It's the perfect time for a wonderful holiday walking one day in the mountains and go for a boat trip the following day.

You can rent boats, surf boards at the harbour.
