This was a delightful little country hotel with gorgeous rooms and a good restaurant immediately below. The suite of rooms (4 were included in my booking) were beautifully furnished and great value for money. The beds were comfortable and the setting was peaceful. Would thoroughly recommend!

Our room had a nice view of the cathedral, we were able to watch the light show from our room.  The challenging part is that the rooms are managed by the Hotel Jehan de Beauce right across the street from the train station.  You have to check in there, get your key and walk the kilometer to the rooms.  That wasn't in any part of information about the booking.  The restaurant staff (shown in the picture) was helpful in getting us in the right direction.  Once situated, it was a great stay.  The building is old and there are some uneven surfaces in the flat but overall, it was a great place to stay.

The size of the room and its layout are very pleasant, the location is very central. BUT contrary to what the name hotel particular suggests... you are only in the annex of a hotel located several hundred metres away where you have to go and get and return the keys. There is therefore no breakfast on site, little basic hotel comfort in the room (no water bottle or handkerchief box and no reception room of course). Contrary to the announcement, there is no room and especially the windows give a pretty inside view of the terrace of a restaurant (see the booking photo, which is when you get to the logistics of the restaurant).

For those who love the fancy wake-up call

Not so much an hotel but self catering apartments almost next door to the cities best attraction, the cathedral.

My wife and I had La Chapelle, a very modern apartment on the second floor and with a view of the cathedral from one window. It was spotless and extremely well appointed for self catering, we were only there for one night so did not have the opportunity to take full advantage of it all. My wife and I both said it was a pity we were not staying longer.

Under normal road conditions having to book in and collect the key from the parent hotel opposite the railway station would not be a problem but during our visit the station road was dug up and there were diversions in many roads leading to it so it was not that easy to get to, we ended up going down a road temporarily restricted to taxis, I await the fine! A pain but by no means anything to put one off. 

There is no road parking but there is a massive underground carpark two or three minutes walk away so parking is no problem at all. it is not cheap but then no city centre parking is.

Despite the proximity to the cathedral we only heard the bells once on the Sunday night, Monday morning we were there and there was zero noise from the street. Breakfast was not included but the restaurant, in the same building, offered one which was quite a typically French and perfectly acceptable. They also offered a Plat de Jour Sunday evening but it was of the take it or leave it type and as the main was veal, we left it. There are any number of restaurants around the cathedral area so finding one you fancy is easy.

There was just one problem with the place which I am sure will have been fixed by now. The floor covering is the same throughout the apartment and there is a small step, no more than six inches, between the bedroom and bathroom area and the only demarcation is a small metal strip. I almost tripped up it in the middle of the night, in the morning my wife missed it completely going into the bedroom area, which she did at the horizontal, flat on her face. Fortunately no serious damage was done, it just shook up both her and the building! A more prominent marking of the step would perhaps save a serious mishap.

Regardless of this and assuming most people are not clumsy klutz like us, I cannot recommend the place more highly.

A warm welcome and service in a very pleasant classroom. A good choice of menus/formulas with a good price ratio. Foods with original, tasty and present compositions.

Lunch break after a walk with friends.

Very clean and warm.  With a small kitchen.  Just next door to the Cathedral so perfectly placed for a short stay in Chartres.
Ideal for our family of four.  
We were able to collect the key from a nearby hotel where they were very welcoming.
We only there one night but would like to return one day.

We stayed one night in a two bedroom apartment in Hotel Pariculier.

To our great surprise the setting is very pleasant even if it turns out that there is no parking space available in the neighborhood your vehicle is so 5 minutes walk away if you find a place and it will cost you 2 days of parcel. to our great surprise the room had not even been cleaned and inspected... dirty towel, bedding in a dirty state, trash cans and other elements that do not leave a good first impression. besides this discomfort when our sounds arrive the building has a huge defect in its structure: the door is torn and the floor is completely in p.. but what annoys me the most during our stay is the sound of the bells (this logical approach to the staircase) so we do not normally sleep under normal conditions but it would be impossible for us to keep our clocks from 8am to 15am in the morning but it would be 8am to 15am in the morning and we would not be able to talk about the clocks from 8am to 15am in the morning.
