The Remote Resort, Fiji Islands

We were very impressed by how friendly and smiling the whole staff was and how they always greeted us with a smile everywhere. We have been to some beautiful resorts, but (unfortunately) this was not the case everywhere. It is also remarkable that we experienced this not only with the staff in the restaurant, reception, etc., but really with EVERYONE. No staff member was too busy to answer a question or do a job, etc. They always accepted and carried out everything immediately. It also seemed that this was not just an "act" for the guests, but that everyone really enjoyed working and was there for the guests. We always felt very welcome. Our villa was large and well equipped. We felt very comfortable. We also really liked the fact that dinner was always served downstairs and that there was a lot of distance between the individual tables. This created a romantic atmosphere. Another positive thing to mention is that we were given a new table every evening. The meals were extensive, varied, there was a large selection and it was excellent every time. This applies to breakfast, lunch and dinner.
