Villas Del Sol II

I love it here but the guest house is old and deteriorated it needs improvement , the couches are dirty, there is never paper towel or toilet paper in the bathroom and there is no one attending the clubhouse is very weird. The villas are great overall very spacious and clean just the pool are I have an issue with.

Guest house needs improvement

We went on VRBO and found a villa similar to this one but not exact same. Same region. Were told to contact Ben in Canada for better deals which we did. UNFORTUNATELY! He conned us into thinking it was close to beach and shopping. It wasn't!  We paid for an extra golf cart which wasn't there. Free golf cart was there but battery was dead. No water for 1st day and night.  Luckily, some kind neighbors took us to grocery and pizza place so we didn't starve. We found a wonderful place to stay and moved the next day. Lost all of our $$$ for 2 week rental and 110.00 for extra golf cart. Money had been wired to him via our bank. Talked many times to Ben but got nowhere. Just more BS!  Don't rent any of the villas at Villa Del Sol II. It is in a neighborhood !
and very few speak English. Sad!  We loved Punta Cana tho and will return

Villa Del Sol II

We have just returned from Punta cana 6 days into a 6 week vacation. We found this on VRBO but booked direct with the host to take advantage of discounts he offered. $8000 Canadian gone. What was pinned as a beach property was 2.5km from the beach. And there is no use of anything on the Lopesan resort. He just says that. Yes you can walk in their beach you just can’t use anything. He had given us a golf cart but it didn’t work. Drive 50 meters and it died. Not reliable so we had to rent a car just so we could get anywhere.  This place was a dump. Pure filth. Broken and stained old IKEA furniture. Futon covered with a drape so we wouldn’t notice the human secretions all over it. Dirty dishes piled up and put inside a bottom cupboard directly on the floor. Warning on day two we were using too much electricity and we would come home to pitch black if we didn’t shut it off. Live video feed inside the unit, which we disconnected and covered. Broken padlock so front door never properly secured. Luxury bedding?  There was only sheets and they were still being washed and dried five days into our stay. Luxury en-suite?  The shower curtain was black with mold. Bath towels were old and stained. Bath mats were all stained and moldy. The host took off after three days and we lost all communication with him. All we had was his guy that tried his best but there was no fixing this place. And did I mention a live video feed?  Yes I did but it warrants another mention. This guy is a smooth talker and will feed you the biggest stories but it’s all lies. He thought we should be happy with it. It’s beautiful he says. We won’t see a penny of our money back but we want to warn anyone else to not get taken in. It’s a total bait and switch. Pictures online are old and make this place look wonderful but don’t be fooled.
