Very nice villa, open only during the summer season and managed by two gentlemen in pensions who during the rest of the year live in Skagen. The first breakfast is optional and paid for (about 10 euros per person) but it is worth the penalty (yogurt, Bruges, marmalade, hot beverages, fish juice). There are a few rooms, very nice and well maintained, almost all in the basement. They are small but furnished with taste and heart. They are usually rented for a minimum of 3 nights. Living for a few days in a nice Danish cabin

It took us a moment to fall in love with Lokken also thanks to Villa Vendel, where every detail is taken care of and you have a feeling of home.
Mitzi also gives a great contribution with her courtesy and her smile when welcomes guests in this cozy facility convenient to all services and a short walk from the beautiful beach.

Comfortable and welcoming structure

Simply a winner...! 🥇 The place, the designs, the appartment/room, the hosts, the garden, the breakfast, the reception, the entire concept..! A first class experience. Sooo cosy. We will be back, and we will recommend friends to visit!

Best overnight experience for a long time!

If you only went there to see the owner’s beautiful eyes, you would not be disappointed!  This is a great little bnb, uncomplicated but very comfortable with a very warm welcome and one of the best breakfasts I have had for a while. Thoroughly recommended for a straightforward, easygoing visit to what seems to be a nice place, though I was desperate for a shower and bed so didn’t see the town! Villa Vendel was a great choice!

Push biker desperate for a sleep

We arrived as the new owner was just getting set up and not really open, but she quickly made a room ready for us.  It was charming, clean, comfortable.  All things hygge!  The next morning her friend, a chef, arrived to help her make us a wonderful fresh breakfast.  We were her first guests, but as lovely as she and her villa are, there will soon be a waiting list.  Needless to say, we enthusiastically recommend a stay at Villa Vendel!!

Truly Wonderful

We had a family gathering in Slagelse but 9 of us did some traveling to see family cemeteries & farms near Logstor.  We booked this wonderful place, the owners daughter was unable to be there but her parents were wonderful hosts. The owner recommended a restaurant & made reservations for dinner a short walk away. We had happy hour in their common room & a wonderful breakfast in the greenhouse. There was a steep stairway & they wanted us to pay cash but we found an ATM in town. I would recommend stopping here for a night or two. Nice rooms, showers, location & hosts.


GREAT place, wonderful hosts

After a good day in Aalborg I checked into Villa Vendel Thursday in Easter. We were welcomed by Hanne and walked up very steep stairs to a nice room. We had a great walk in the sand dunes and were welcomed by strong Western wind. Great. After fresh air we had a good tour around the town and a great dinner at Løkken Vejkro. The next morning we had a good breakfast and drove off. We will be back.  

Great cozy hygge experience 

It's a lovelyly decorated fairy tale from the past, but inside it's just a little bit of the housewife's charm, and Uebrig's breakfast in the glass house in the garden is a hit.

It's all top.

The property is located in an excellent location and is within walking distance of Lokken city centre and the beautiful beach. The rooms are all very nice, we were asked to choose between two private bathroom apartments, one that also has a terrace (looking down on the street but it is still a small outdoor spot). The room is spacious and well furnished with a very tidy and clean bathroom.

Good structure

This is a small structure that I feel I highly recommend for several reasons: - the rooms are delightfully furnished, comfortable and clean. - the common areas (kitchen, patio, etc.) are guest-owned and very cozy. - it is a 5-minute walk from the beach. - the owner is really nice and available. - Something negative? - the old wooden floor is creaky, but it is part of the charm of the house. - the house remains between two streets, but I assure you it is soundproofed to perfection; you sleep peacefully!
