Guesthouse Sandavágur

I visited the Faroe with my 12-year-old granddaughter in July 2018. George meet us at the airport as we had requested, and took us to his B&B where we picked up our rented automobile. Renting a car from the B&B is very convenient since you can make all your rental arrangement by email beforehand with Polina. Our car, a small Fiat was clean and economical on "benzin" also known as regular gas as I found out. Polina being of Faroese origin was very helpful in advising us about sightseeing and shopping, I found Polina to be very disciplined about running her B&B, there are no surprises, it is very clean, the breakfasts are self-served and clearly identified, there are lots of reading material and even and iPad freely available for your use. By the way internet speed as I measured it was 85 Mbps which was amazing to me since we are in the middle of the North Atlantic. Overall we were very pleased to have stayed with George and Polina. My wife had made all the arrangements for our stay by email from Canada and everything went according to plan. Thank you George and Polina, my granddaughter will remember you and the Faroe for the rest of her life.
