Luxury Spa & Wellness Vila Valaška

We have just spent an enjoyable week in Spa Luhacovice. Apartment no.6 in Vila Valaska is a hidden gem. Valaska was built by architect Jurkovic in 1907 and restored to its former beauty five years ago. Our apartment had a nice living room with a marvellous art noveau corner window- see foto from outside. (Comparable view into a hotel garden with a waterlily pool and a fountain we saw only in Sun City Resort in South Africa; they presented pink flamingos at pool on top of it - but you can hardly expect it on Luhacovice parallel of latitude :-). ). To 5* hotel room is missing only an electric kettle with a tea/coffee set, better toiletries and a bowel of fresh fruit perhaps. We enjoyed an indoor swimming pool (with a glass wall into the garden again), sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi and gated parking – all free. And children of our friends staying with us enjoyed a garden corner for children with trampoline and other attractions. Luhacovice is a small quiet spa - for an elderly couple like us the Spa and this accommodation was a perfect choice. Breakfast buffet served at the Vila is - well – ample and nutritious, and that is all we can say about all served meals. (But there is a very good restaurant in Hotel Augustiansky dvur just on the other side of the little river below.) And the ratio price/quality is more than satisfactory.
