We've stayed here a few times and feel it's good value for the price. Tonight there were some ants crawling around on the floor, but heh, we're in Costa Rica so not too surprised. The pool was warm and the bed was comfy.

A mattress with some padding would have been nice for comfort. Personal preference but it was hard.

The information provided to access the property and unit were fantastic. All the staff on the property are friendly and kind. The reception contact, (I can’t remember her name) was absolutely lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again. The pool was warm with very few people using it. You can walk easily to the beach and the grocery store is right out front.

Water from shower did go into main room and so floors were slick.

A full kitchen with cooking an all the utensils. A good size fridge an English tv channels clean an pleasant to stay.

Nice studio apartment friendly staff .good location not noisy close to all amenities within walking.

Hermosa paradise was a great hotel with an excellent location. I walked to the beach every day, and grabbed groceries from the super market right next door. The room I stayed in had a full kitchen so I could cook meals. The service was great too. They were so helpful and communication about checkin made it really easy even when I got to the hotel late the first night. They also helped me find the bus schedule to get to the airport saving me lots on taxi fare. I highly recommend Hermosa paradise for an affordable stay on the beach.

Arrived at property during their business hours and was unable to access property. Didn't answer phone or whatsapp. Finally someone noticed we had been sitting outside. The room was spacious if not luxurious. Large patio overlooking nice pool. Hot tub wasn't hot but pool was refreshing. Located next to grocery store which was convenient. Playa Hermosa didnt impress. Access was limited unless you were staying in a beachfront property, which this wasn't. Room staff was pleasant. Altogether no major complaints and a pretty good value for the money.

Pros:The apartment was clean and a good size for a family of 4 . Good size of terrace with a table and chairs.Good storage for everyone's clothes. A coffee maker, a toaster , a couple of pots, plates,cups and glasses enough for 4 ppl Excellent communication with the management via whatsup. Good location, close to the beach ( about 15 min walk and few minutes drive) and many restaurants. A small grocery store in the building.Cons: very old electric stove, almost not suitable for cooking,takes forever to boil water.

Love the location of this condo. The pool is nice and it is only about 10 -15 mins walk to the beach. Also, there is a sidewalk so you are not walking on the main road with cars and trucks and motorbikes. There is a small grocery store located at the front of the condo and it has everything including meat and vegetables and fruits. The only thing I would fault this place is the mattress. We rented unit 9 and we were basically sleeping on boxspring. There is no pillow top on the mattress and we can feel all the springs on that so called mattress. Other than that, everything else is great about this place. Not sure if all the mattresses in different units are the same or not. Maybe we just got a bad mattress in unit 9.

Loved my stay

everything was good and i enjoyed the hotel, only thing is the separate pool that i thought was a hot tub, wasnt and i wish it was. there was a lack of hot water showering especially and the bed was very uncomfortable. still worth my stay. beautiful place and location is safe and a 10 minute walk to the beach!

Property is just what it looks like in the pictures. Excellent communication from the hotel on WhatsApp. The apartment was cute, had basic cooking equipment and enough towels for everyone. The floors in the unit really needed to be cleaned and the keys/locks were a bit hard to use, those are my only complaints!

The reviews on this are pretty spot on. The pros: It's above a grocery store which is awesome, the kitchen is great, the 2-bedroom apartment is spacious, you can walk to Playa Hermosa (altho it's about 10 min), it feels safe, the inside pool area is low-key and quiet, the parking is secure. The cons: the front bedrooms in all three 2-bedroom units we rented were right on the road and it's pretty noisy. I personally couldn't sleep there and took the back bedroom which has two twins. Someone wrote the pool is falling apart. Many small tiles are definitely detaching but I would not worry about this at all! The pool is great.

I appreciated how quiet the neighborhood is that this apartment is located in. The other travelers were a pleasure to be around. There's a few great little stores on the block. The pool is falling apart and there are sharp edges so be aware of that. There a nice parking lot and the property feels very secure. The beads are comfy and the rooms are clean. Housekeeping is only every 3 days and you need to have data to receive the check-in instructions as reception has limited hours. Good value for the price.

Our three bedroom 2 bath unit #6 was great.   Bed in master was great (King). 2 other rooms were singles.  Our friends found them a little hard.   A mattress topper would be great.   We loved the grounds.   Very quiet at night as well.   Safe to walk around at night.   Only a ten minute walk to Playa Hermosa Beach.   Super Luperon downstairs has everything you need.   Will come again
