Que Tuanis Hostel Monteverde

I stayed here a little over two years ago (November 2017 - trip advisor only allows me to go back a year so ignore the incorrect travel date below) and as king of procrastination, I'm finally following through with writing a review of this place :-) The staff were extremely warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to spend time finding a local horticulturist for me to connect with for a guided tour through the cloud forest I was seeking out. They found one and he was great, incredibly knowledgeable and exactly what I was looking for :-) We saw a python coiled around a branch wayyy up in the canopy and he lead us to a tarantula nest/den? he must have had previous knowledge of, super cool! The morning breakfast coupled with the beautiful view was the perfect start to my day of incredible exploration and adventure in Monteverde. There was a super cute resident dog at the hostel and I can't recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a cute, quaint, welcoming home away from home with very hospitable and helpful hosts.
