A very spacious and comfortable space for a several day stay in the heart of Ottawa. Very close to Parliament buildings.

Clean and hygienic, fully equipped. I especially like the complete tableware in the kitchen.

We had a fabulous 4 night stay. The amenities were beyond my expectations. The hotel was central for all our needs. Staff were able to advice/direct us to a supermarket.Would definitely recommend to family/friends.

Close to NAC, Parliament Buildings and War Memorial. Lots of dining spots nearby. A basic room but clean and quiet.

online checkin process was unclear as to what it was but other than that it went smoothly

Very convenient, close to restaurants, the capital,and the market.

It is great to stay in the hear of the downtown

I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who asks me. Everything was great! Friendly and helpful staff, room and hotel very clean. Ex: On night #2, at around 10pm, our AC was malfunctioning. Without hesitation, the staff handled the situation in a timely manner, helped us move to another room and offered an extended check out. 2. The *only* recommendation I would make would be to consider putting salt and pepper in the kitchen suites. Also, some bottled water would be great. Our flight ended up being delayed, we finally checked in at around 1:46-2:00 am. It would have been nice to just have some water. 3. Otherwise, we loved the stay. 4. We’re coming back and will definitely reserve a room in this specific hotel.

I like everything about my week-long stay at the Sonder Arlo, 88 Albert Street, Ottawa. The code for entry was sent as promised, the day before as well as instructions for use. The front staff was friendly and warm. Internet was super fast. The locker to leave my luggage before check in was free and safe. The room was pristine and all needs were anticipated. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and utencils I needed. The balcony was refreshing to have as well. Bathroom was immaculate and I loved that I could get as many fresh towels and supplies as I needed. Add to all of that, the location. Parliament Hill, ist up the street. River and Canal Cruise around the corner. National Gallery and Museums just a short cool walk away. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

The apartment was very comfortable, with a very good bed, sheets, and pillows. The kitchen was nice with a full fridge, dishwasher, stove and oven, and a good coffee machine. The bathroom was rather small, with the bathroom door often banging into us. There are staff at the front desk from 8am-11pm. If you check in early or leave late there are lockers in the basement for your luggage. There is also a laundry and fitness room although we didn’t use either. There is a nice quiet lounge to use on the main floor of the building and the apartment is centrally located and is within walking distance to most sights. The apartment is also quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay for my weeklong conference. Everything was clean and tidy. The ensuite kitchen was very convenient and the balcony was an enjoyable addition to everything. Even used the open sitting area a few times. Check in was pretty simple and the common areas were nice. Location is downtown so everything is within walking distance. Despite this, I found that noise wasn't a problem. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

I was in Ottawa for a week of meetings. This was a great location to be able to walk to all of my meetings. Only complaint is that street/construction noise was a bit bothersome (though Sonder provided earplugs beside the bed). Staff were friendly and efficient. It was clean and bed comfortable. Lots of dining options nearby.

Great location for business trip

This hotel was amazing! This was our second time staying at a Sonder hotel - we absolutely loved the first time and someone the second time was even better! Location was great, room was clean, we had a full kitchen (plates, cups, pots, pan, even a colander included!), bed/bedding was very comfortable and there were quite a few amenities on location (we didn't need them for our short trip but would be great for a loner trip). Honestly, we recommend Sonder to anyone travelling and this location was no exception.

Amazing!

Floorboards had gaps, we slipped a few times (in our unit).The room cleanliness left a bit to be desired- the pull out couch had dirt, and dirty (stained sheets) on it. We had to put our own sheets on it.Washroom water- no regulator? Water ran ice cold, then hot, then ice cold again (lots of temperature fluctuation), with little warning.Laundry room- all washers and dryers will filled with the Sonder linens. Every one of them. So, when doing laundry, had to move the washed items to a dryer, AFTER removing the dried (or semi-dry) items from the dryer. This was at 8:30pm. Nobody attended to the wash from Sonder during this time (between 8:30pm-10:30pm on Saturday evening).

Sonder Arlo May 2025 long weekend

Property was very prompt in responding to questions prior to check-in and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Team member on Monday night provided a couple of excellent restaurant recommendations and shared a list of other restaurants in the area. The storage lockers for luggage that remain accessible after checkout were a great bonus since I had meetings all day amd my train didn't keave until 6 so this saved me lugging my suitcase to meetings. This was my 4th stay at a Sonder and definitely my favourite so far.

The Sondor Arlo was very clean and we loved the little kitchen. The area was perfect for us as it was easy to walk to the sights.  Restaurants were an easy walk.  Initially I was a bit frustrated with the verification process, but the chat feature quickly helped me.  The free luggage storage made our late flight easy.  Would highly recommend this hotel to my friends.  The only people I wouldn’t recommend it to would be older people who aren’t techy as the online sign in process would have frustrated someone like my 82 year old dad.  otherwise it was great.

Sonder Arlo have been a perfect place to spend 4 nights for 3 people on our semi road-trip around Canada. We got great service from staff and the quality of the rooms, kitchen and two bathrooms in our 1 bedroom apartment was great. Only little minus is that parking only is offered in another Sonder two blocks away and if you have a larger car it can be kinda scary to use as it is very narrow parking garage. So maybe explore other parking options.
