Bugs in bathroom.. bad lighting dirty carpets..rude staff.. awefulfake eggbreakfast.. beside drug infested motel.. don’t check in here middle of nowhere..  don’t stay here.. unsafe sliding doors drunken violence.. bad couch lost pillows dirty walls

Check in was a breeze and the gentleman at the desk was friendly and very helpful. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Bed was a little hard however that is just a personal preference so it didn't change my overall feeling of this motel. I will definitely stay again.  

Clean room, great value!

Decent room, pet friendly. Better than any of the other motels in the Cobourg area. Owner was fairly friendly. Room was sort of clean. Air conditioning worked. Price was a little steep, however we were overall satisfied. Some sketching guests were also there but they didn’t bother us.

A roof, a clean room and a comfortable bed. A strip mall kind of layout. Parking right in front of third room. Very close to the 401 highway. Some places to dine close by. All in all,  probably would rate ok at best for the price they charged. Have seen better.

Except that the a/c did not cool the room at all.  Probably not a problem here in Canada for 9 months of the year!  But unfortunately,  in July, this room got quite stuffy. That got me to a 1*.

Decent pit stop

Very well located near the marina for fishing quality price very well! well equipped room large refrigerator and air conditioner new home well also only disadvantage the air conditioner had not left on arrival and had to wait for the temperature to become comfortable

Good quality price ratio

Our room was obviously recently updated, everything was working. The internet was pretty flawless at first, the next morning good, because a neighbor might have been streaming too much. The electricity supply for the electronic was optimal. There was a refrigerator, microwave, water boiler. There was no noise in the vertical wing to the street. Check in and out quickly and without problems.

A flowering lotus

We rented two rooms on June 13th. WE needed a economical  nights stay in the area and found it at the Lotus Motel. The manager could  not have been more welcoming and helpful. The room he gave us was recently updated, with the bathroom bright and all the right amenities. I liked the LED bulbs above the sink. The bed was very comfortable and the  fridge was new and clean. Certainly not the Hilton but very adequate and reasonably priced.

Enjoyable Stay

Called to ask why he was charging extra for my service dog and was met with rudeness

Apparently he rather lose business than follow the AODA Laws. Was quite rude and is apparently cancelling the booking rather than following the law

Owner is rude and illinformed

I stayed here with my 2 kids for a week while visiting family. The guy at front was super nice and very accommodating, checking up and asking if anything was needed. Close by lots of amenities and a beautiful park across the street. Will most definitely go back next time we arw there. 

Awesome stay

Rooms that are desirable, would need renovation, we feel like they're 50 years old since the decoration was done, you can see outside under the front door, the site is noisy, a lot of going in and out.
