nestled in a little valley just north of Italy, this hotel had more than I could possibly have expected. It's 9.3 rating did not seem possible, but I would rate it higher than that! The two things I look for in a hotel are a pool I can swim in and free Internet in the room. I have never seen a longer pool in a winter hotel. It must be 18 meters long and with full glass wall with a view of the mountain. This contrasts with the typical winter pools that are 8 yards long and stuck in the cellar.I am not a spa person but for those that are there were for different types of saunas, steam room, 5 m square indoor hot pool and an 8 m square hot outdoor pool. Klaus, the manager, is both friendly and willing to indulge your every wish. The food was from good to Michelin quality. Best breakfasts I have had in a ski hotel. The pastries are outstanding. Our waiter, Marcel, was the best I have ever seen. Friendly, competent and very knowledgeable. Better than any Michelin restaurant service I have experienced.while the dinner is served, they often have a buffet-- one night a soup buffet, another night and entrée buffet,another night in a pasta buffet. That was my favorite. All in all I would rate it a 10 among the winter hotels.
