Ideal chalet style hotel accomodation for a walking holiday, we were 33 in our group. Rosemarie and her team did all in their power to make it an enjoybale stay. Standard of accomodation varied, some rooms were really super, some were in the eaves and did not suit everyone, while the singles were poor. They were all spotless and well kept, slightluy dated but wilth super water pressure and endelss hot water and plenty of towels. Towels were changed daily which we thought wasteful, and often in spite of requests to leave them..but otheriwse no complaints. Most roroms had balaconies and all had hairdryers. Food was excellent in terms of what we paid. There is an excelent breakfast buffet and walkers could make thir own packed lunch from it too, this cost 5 euor extra. Dinner was served to the table, after a salad buffet starter which was plentiful and varied. A choice of soups, three mains and three desserts. Portions were generous and everything was well presented and hot. The location is great for walking holidays, but a bit out of the way if you were using public trasport to get around. here is a good local bus services, with a steep ten minute walk to thehotel from the bus stop. Rosemarie and staff very helpful making calls, checking bus times etc for people and generally making sure everyone had all they wanted. Pleasant garden terrace too.
