Lechtal Alps

We spent three nights in Juliana's boarding house and were thrilled. Everything was fine. Spacious, very clean rooms, delicious organic breakfast with nothing missing, ski bus stop just around the corner, which takes you to the mountain tracks to Lech in a few minutes. Most of us liked the unpretentious, super friendly and kindness of Mrs Rietzler, who welcomed us very kindly and gave us some good tips.

A wonderful stay

For those wanting a scenic view and a feel of nature  this would be a convenient location to stay. 
Breakfast provided is very good. 
Rooms are spacious. 
Wi-Fi is good.
Customer service is very helpful and friendly.
Overall Satisfactory.  

Beautiful!

We spent a week in the Bio Pension Juliana it was all perfect and right the breakfast really the hammer. The rooms were very clean and we really felt at home. can you really just recommend...

We got a very clean hotel.

Very nice greeting - also from the courtyard dog - and a nice room. The breakfast is great and the bread service is great. Nice quiet location on the edge of Lech. We have spontaneously extended for two nights. The tip for the restaurant (Cit lo) in the neighborhood was just right for two hikers and unlike other Lech restaurants at fair prices.

To feel good

The boarding house is very quietly located a little outside the town centre. This was no problem for us, as every 10 minutes a ski bus stopped right in front of the house and after a few minutes was right by the cable cars. We had a small, well-equipped apartment and enjoyed the rich and good breakfast with many organic products. The dinner offered was also very good. The Walch family provided a family atmosphere, so we can continue to recommend this house.

The Walch family runs a very cozy and very friendly boarding house. We felt very comfortable. The room was spacious, cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was bio, rich and easy to talk to other people. There are lots of good tips for excursions and walks. The bus stop is right outside the door. A great recommendation. We would love to come back once in the winter.

Very nice family-run organic pension

5 days en 4 nights of stay at Pension Juliana in Stubenbach, Lech. 

At arrival we had a warm welcome of Claudia, who runs the beautiful Pension. She showed our room and we had a tasteful diner she made herself (a view times a week). 

The room (nr11) is a nice, quiet, clean and spaceful room with a really nice bed, shower (+bad!) and big closet. Every day the room got cleaned up.  In the morning you can see the sun shine on the mountains.

The breakfast from 8.00 untill 10.00 is really good. With fresh breads, mermalades, cheese and meat, yoghurts, coffee, thee, egss.. And a warm good morning of Juliana. Whatever you need! 

At the and of the day from 16.00 untill 18.00 there’s a coffee table with nice (home made) pie/cake to think over the wonderful day of skiing.

They have a seperate place where you can leave your ski’s/board/shoes to dry and you can park your car for in front of the Pension. Close to the house they have a stable with their own cows and horses, really nice to visit with Claudia.

The bus in and around Lech runs every 10 minutes and stops in front of Pension Juliana (Bus ‘ Stubenbach’), so you dont have to wait a long time. Past 19.30 (I think) the bus ‘ James’  drives and you have to pay 4.50 pp for the hole night to use the bus.

Skiing in Lech is one of the best we ever had. You can ski above Lech/Oberlech/Zurs or take the big lift to ski to Warth (really nice long pistes!). Or take the bus to Stuben and you can ski to St. Christoph/St. Anton. Enough options!

We found out that Lech is the first skiing area in Austria and most snow-sure because it lays in the northern-Alps. It has a nice history.

A nice place for lunch, drinks and party is Balmalp (above Zurs). With (I think) around the weekend a live DJ! 

After all you can have nice coffee/lunch/diner/drinks every where. Prices are a bit like in France, but than with the cosiness of Austria!

We really would like to recommend Lech in Austria and above all Pension Juliana!

Perfect stay at lovely family Walch in Stubenbach, Lech

We stayed in Lech for a long weekend and lived in the Juliana Pension in a double room with a service bed. The room was always very generous and pleasant. The pension also offers a sauna and a very good organic breakfast as part of the half-pension. The pension is located in the Stubenbach district, which is about 25 minutes' walk from the town centre.

This is a place of hospitality.

My busness partner and myself like to hold our yearly strategic meeting in an inspring, calm environment. So not during peek season, but in early summer. We have stayed twice in this beautiful pension, run by lovely and kind host Claudia. Beautiful and clean rooms/apartments, great breakfast and...silence...I can highly recommand this beautiful pension. The sauna is devine after a walk in the mountains. And if you want a great meal in a unique setting, try "Alpenbode", at walking distance from pension Juliana. And wifi lovers...no worries, always acces to "the cloud".

Business stay in Pension Juliana

Very friendly hast family. Very enjoyable food. They serve afternoon cake and a 3 course dinner every 2nd evening. They have spacious comfortable, lovely rooms with separate bathroom and toilet. Of course they have a room for the ski equipment. The ski bus stops right in front of the door and you are able to start the ski day within a few minutes... Additionally, they help you to make the best of your vacation in lech and provide support for everything. If you stay there, you definitely come back!
