Feel like your attending a (positive) family gathering with the friendly owners and staff. Beautiful and serene grounds. Fantastic hosts! Choose when in or passing through Shkroder. Great bed! Public balconies. Hammock. Dog and cats are cute.

Feel like you are staying as a member of a happy family

We stayed a couple of days at the guesthouse and Mikel and his family, besides being charming and very hospitable, were great connoisseurs of the surroundings.They allowed us to leave our parked yellow van there for 3 days, during which we could enjoy good trekkins in teth and valbona, without worries, following Mikel's recommendations.The van was well served by those 3 days of rest because when we picked it up, the electric fan, which had given us some scare during the trip, by magic, stopped giving problems.So we were able to return home without incident (about 2,500km).Thank you to Mikel and his family for having created such a lovely and friendly place in which to feel at home.

A magical place.

The hotel is very spacious, but it's exactly as described! The breakfast is very brief and sparse, and I really felt like I was bothering you.

It's not terrible.

I would really recommend this place. The rooms are very spacious and there's a beautiful garden surrounding the guesthouse with hammocks, fresh fruits and vegetables. It's a bit out of the citycentre but they have bikes for rent which is the best option to explore the city and the lake, so the location wasn't a problem for us. The host is really friendly and helpfull. He also gives some good advice on planning your trip through albania.

Lovely atmosphere

The hostel owner Mikel is very friendly and will show you a lot of great places if you request a daytrip. The hostel is located very nice (you can walk to the center). Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good. I honestly wouldnt know what to criticize. Must stay in Shkoder!

Incredible Hospitality

We spent 3 days with my friend and it was super-chevered, spacious, has a beautiful garden; We like photos and this hostel has many rooms to do it, the beds are comfortable, they have their own curtains and a lamp to read.

A very good experience.

We stayed a couple of nights at Mikel's hostel and were delighted by its garden, its turtles, its warmth and simplicity.The place is clean, the bathrooms have hot water and towels, the kitchen has everything to prepare and have a pleasant time.The comfortable beds with clean sheets plus the lockers to store the colorful belongings.

What I was looking for!

After eight months of traveling, we arrived in Shkoder and stayed at the Green Garden Hostel! It is the perfect place to rest, surrounded by plants, travelers and good vibes.

A great place in Shkoder!

have been travelling a while when i arrived at Green garden hostel. i found this small piece of paradise not far from the center of city of Shkodra. an oasis full of fruit trees and 2 of the most loving animals i have ever seen, Tia and Citto. the place is relaxed, not noisy, the only thing you can hear around is roosters and dogs barking to each - other from yard to yard. The staff is very helpful and very knowledgeable about Shkodra, Albania and even the countries around. That helped a lot for my further trip. if you go to Shkodra, this is the place to be. you will love it

great memories

침대, 집, 정원, 주인 다 마음에들었슴! 
도시 중심에서 약간 떨어저있지만 호스텔에서 자전거 렌트하면 오히려 더 많은걸 볼수있어서 좋습니다. 집에 귀여운 강아지랑 고양이도있어서 플러스 ㅎㅎ 
정원에 감나무 귤나무 석류나무도 있어요 ㅋㅋ 주인한테 물어보고 드세요 

I came off season but had a fantastic experience staying at Green Garden Hostel. The host is very friendly and his dog and cat are adorable. Come see for yourself!
