When you first realise that you are staying in a Vietnamese 3 star hotel and you are used to European 3 stars, it is understandable that you may be a touch nervous - but the hotel is really OK. It is located about 3km away for the core of Vung Tao (about 30 ins walk), but right opposite one end of the main beach "strip", so if sun, sand and running is your thing, it is fine. The rooms are comfortable, a bit sparse but have the all important A7C and some face the sea ....no horrible carpet and clean. Staff are friendly but English is a little limited, and breakfast is essentially Asian so do not eat here is you miss your legs and bacon in the morning...
