Me and my girlfriend stayed here for only two nights and had a lovely time. It is a beautiful location and has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. At night you can hear the sounds of the forest. We were looked after so well by hwe and the other staff. My girlfriend came off her motorbike and they drove us to the hospital. The food was delicious with generous portions. The rooms are basic but spacious and clean though the bathroom did get a little insecty. In short come here if you are not looking for luxury but want really nice, authentic and rural vibes.

I arrived in early Feb to Phu Quoc with my 10 yr old son .I had booked 8 nights at Ut Phuong but stayed for 10 . I was looking for something more real Vietnam than the many Beach resorts and I figured on hiring a bike anyway so could explore all the beaches at my leisure /inclination.
Best decision ever !!! I really enjoyed this beautiful farmstay ....it became my home away from home and a perfect place to retire after a day of exploring..snorkelling. ..bike hire was cheaper long term and so I hired a bike for 100,000 Dong a day...best way to get around as long as you are respectful of the unwritten speed limit 40kmph its not wise to go faster really as you need to be alert  and aware of the oncoming trucks/bikes /cows/broken bricks/sand /potholes/uneven surfaces .....This is a good place to stick to low speed unless  the road is clear.....
Our room was a traditional bungalow with thatched open air roof ..fan ..mosquito net ..cold water only (but its over 30 degrees all the time so no problem with that )
We had a hammock and tables and chairs if we wanted to chill amongst the trees at our bungalow but we mostly hung out in the open air tropical lobby where the wifi access is available .. (I recommend getting a Vietnamese sim if your stay is longer than a few days) The Host Sue is a truly lovely person and was always calm and very helpful .."Huy" who was working there when we stayed always exceeded my expectations ...I felt very much looked after ..he even bought my sim for me and helped me load it .We decided on a snorkelling tour organised thru  the resort but got lost getting there so next time Huy made sure we had a handrawn map and his number and even followed us to make absolutely sure we were in the right place at the right time...
The food is all made there and made to order and I chose to have nearly all my meals at the resort as the quality was very good and I looked forward to the smiling and attentive service I always received from "Huy" and "Lim" ...We would always arrive back to our cleaned room with fresh towels and perfectly made bed ...I really just loved it ....The farm was dry this time of year as its nearing the end of dry season and I think I will come again at the end of wet season next time as It will be more Lush ...there are many Butterflies and Geckos and my nights were so well rested as I drifted off to the sound of cicadas and geckos chirping....Fantastic Value for money with the complimentary breakfast ....peaceful location...lovely energy of the people hosting ....
The option of Yoga class was a bonus but I never made it ....next time ...


The place is great and fits the description! 
It's remote, far from everything and no touristic stuff around. No hassle and a warm and welcoming family who runs that place. 

You have to expect animals around you, from spiders over butterfly's to geckos, everything is there and will give you a great jungle concert at night. 
If you are looking for a few days off the path, good food and nature, then it's the right place :-)

Quite place.  Relax and enjoy atmosphere.  Quite far from the sea but comfortable to stay. Excellent yoga class. Tropical garden. Country side style.  Price acceptable. Friendly staff. Enjoyable staying.

Quite - peace -natural 

Pro: Jurgen and Sue and Uy are so nice and helpful. Beautiful butterflies everywhere. The farm is really secluded from the tourists, resorts, construction, etc. A real benefit during high season. Unless you just want to sit in the hammock (a nice option) you'll need a scooter (they rent them). 

Con: Its a farm, not a "resort." Think irrigation ditches and jerry-rigged showers, not flowing streams or tended gardens and spa-like décor. Our rooms were basic, with open ventilation between rooms (so no sound privacy). 

Friendly, rustic

Stayed for two nights, the room was a good size but immediately found some mouse droppings on and around the bed, there was a hole in the bathroom wall too so bugs were able to fly in when the light was on.

The host was a Dutch fella who was very friendly and helpful, the mopeds we rented were good quality but a little prices compared to other places. 

I wouldn't stay here again but my time wasn't too bad.
