First thing to say about Garden Aroma is the staff. They are all so friendly and helpful. Minh gave us a lot of great recommendations to eat like a local and we visited some great places. They also have a restaurant next door if you want to have a big sit down meal. The garden in the hotel has a coffee bar where you can make your own coffee at any time in the day and just leave a donation. The location of the hotel worked out really well for us. It's on the main road from the centre of town to Cua Dai beach. We really enjoyed Cua Dai as a more relaxed beach compared to An Bang. There are some markets around and also great local eateries. On the corner of the main road is a BBQ restaurant that operates in the evening serving great food. If you get a chance, do the market and cooking tour with the staff. It was a great experience and very good value compared to other cooking classes offered in Hoi An. Free bike hire available and they also have a scooter for rent! We stayed for one week and had a lot of time to just relax around the property.
