On our arrival to the hotel we realized that one of our bags had been left behind in the taxi which had already disappeared into the Hanoi traffic. The female staff member told us not to worry as the porter took off on a motorbike in pursuit of the taxi. We thought the bag was lost but 5 minutes later he returned with the piece of luggage. What a guy!! The staff were really hospitable and helpful and we could not fault the service. We used the hotel as a base over 2 weeks for several trips and each time we returned they had a nice room for us and greeted us warmly. The rooms were well appointed and roomy. On our last stay they upgraded us to a VIP room at no extra charge. We would recommend this hotel to anyone intending to visit Hanoi.
