Beautiful morning view from the balcony! Stayed over one night for a tour and Steven couldn’t have been more helpful! Amazing if you want to organise any tours or trips to surrounding areas including Cambodia! Lovely to wake up on the river with the sun shining. Thanks Steven! 

We booked a 3 day trip from Saigon to Phnom Penh and slept one night in Stevens lovely floating hotel. Spacious basic rooms with wooden floors.
There is a rooftop restaurant where you easily can spend an evening. The best thing was the awesome view over the mekong in the morning.

The floating hotel is in a great location close to the Cambodian border, and hence was my last night's stay in Vietnam. I have to say Stephen was the best host I have had during a month here - so friendly and even rang to help me when I had issues at the border! I visited as part of a 3 day Mekong Delta trip with YTC, which was very good. The hotel is basic but with all the comforts you need, A/C, fan, TV, balcony etc... Both the hotel breakfast and the restaurant upstairs were good, with great views also. Definitely recommend to stay here!

Stayed here as pat of a trip up the Delta into Vietnam. Great stay, fantastic staff, planning our next visit and will definitely be staying there. The tour to the floating forest is certainly worth the trip

Great place

Big Rooms. Tv and Wi-FI. Friendly staff. Good location. When we first saw it we were not that happy But when we get our Room just change My mind. Big balcony with view on Mekong

For the money Its Good value.

Good value for money

This was arranged as part of a Mekong Delta tour to cross the border from Vietnam to Cambodia. I would not have chosen to stay here had it been up to me. We didn't experience anything like the other reviews, but the whole place felt like it needed some work and I just didn't feel comfortable at all. WiFi not very good. Glad it was only one night.
One positive was the sunrise view in the morning over the Mekong from the terrace area, very nice.

The Floating Hotel is a little on the dirty side. Not terrible, but also not a place I'd want to stay more than one night. I stayed in a room with two single beds. It was spacious and had a refrigerator, outlets, the basics.

Just okay

For those hoe can't afford the Victoria hotel: there are other good options in the city center of Chau Doc! We would certainly not recommend the hotel boat. The manager is a rude and annoying guy. He tries to force guests to book a tour, wakes guests up and yells at them.The room was filthy and the bathroom smelled like urine. We saw several huge cockroaches... all together we didn't feel save and didn't get much rest. It felt as a relieve to continue our trip.
