InTown Suites Extended Stay Dallas TX - Plano

Upon arrival to the Extended Stay Hotel In Plano Tx. I was greeted my A highly Intelligent Gentleman, he was so Accomodating. Later, I learned he was the General manager and his name was Mr. Andrew Anene, this young man went out of his way to make my stay a pleasant one. From the time I arrived the hotel was very eloquently decorated, the lawn was manicured. And the rooms were very clean. I will definitely be visiting here again upon my next business meeting in the DFW.

So we have to compare apples to apples and if we do that, then this hotel is a good value for $40 a night. In fact before it changed over to InTownsites I may have rated it 4 stars. We left in the transition that was not going well (2 stars) so I will give the benefit of 3 stars so they can work the kinks out.
Pros: Great central location, quiet with no traffic noise, very good pricing, felt fairly safe, fair internet connection for personal use, responsive staff.
Cons: Poor internet for business use, Strong cigarette smell even after 60 days, cleaning staff not great, dated room.

Tip - ask to stay on back side facing field and on third floor.

Sun Suites is Now Intown Suites - Good for the Price

The fact the water got turned off twice and while we was washing are clothes and towels, wasted money and they didn’t tell us the water was getting turned off nor there was construction being done. We had to buy toilet paper cause they didn’t supply any, got locked out are room and the staff was a little rude about it didn’t believe we was staying there. Had to ask multiple times for new sheets we stayed there 8 days and they only cleaned are room 1 day out the 8 days. They didn’t even clean it we did.

They advertise remodeled rooms. The room they gave me was not. It was old, filthy and unsafe. The walls had not been cleaned or painted for years. There were giant dark smudges everywhere. The refrigerator door didn't close and cabinetry was rickety. The door to the room had a faulty lock. The bathroom was gross. When I complained to the woman at the desk, she called the police.  The room had been reserved for eleven nights, based on the advertisement, but I stayed for three nights. Although I requested a refund from Expedia and Intown Suites, I have received nothing but silence.

Terrible check in policy.  3-6pm. Literally closed after that.  Had to get another hotel.  Lady on phone just kept saying we're closed and told me there was a hotel next door.

This was weird

I have been here for approximately month and a half.. I have experienced & observed several problems! I work a lot of hours last thing anyone has to deal with is safety or issues where they reside.. This place is not cheap in value to have this many issues.. You have beer bottles all over the property which happen to run over coming in late after work.. You have trash all over the property not to mention the dumpster stay full constantly having no where to place trash but outside the dumpster?? You have small children outside with no adult?? One day one of those children ran out in front of my car?? Thank God for my breaks.. Laundry room absolutely horrible needs to be cleaned.. The rooms at lest mine anyways needs work.. Carpet dirty and regardless of how much deorderizer & cleaning I do when you walk in has a moldy smell.. Ceiling has stains from prior leaks.. I had no choice but to be here on temporary basis.. I spend 687 every 2 weeks staying here and there is no reason & or excuse why things should be this way!! I'm praying won't be here much longer!!!

Multiple Problems and Concerns

My daughter and I was staying while waiting for our house to close only 1 week first time every visiting this property. The room we received carpet reek of pet urine and the bath and kitchen had roaches. I could not sleep due to smell and roaches. On top of that the property is closed on Sundays so only secuity..which is a regular resident that stays on site. Needless to say, no one could address the issue. Waited till they opened on Monday, general manager said she would send maintenence to clean carpet. Maintenance did not show up because only 1 guy for the entire property so another night with allergies smell and roaches. I ask for a refund or proration and their policy would not allow it. The ratings on this property is not accurate and do not recommend.
