It was an amazing place to stay. Easy check in and super clean apartment. Everything was comfortable and clean, felt like home. The view of the river was gorgeous from Apt 5.

The apartment was much larger than expected!  Will definitely book again

We loved the location next to the river! So quaint & amazing!! Enjoyed it so much!! The bed was to die for!

Unit five was spotless, clean as a whistle. Unfortunate that  stay was only one day as I could spend a lot of time at this Inn. Everything you need and then some. Would highly recommend this for anyone traveling to Missoula.

We stayed in two different apartments over the long weekend and liked them both-private, comfortable, and we could do laundry which was a real bonus.  Goldsmith's has a lot of old-world character with modern conveniences!

We stayed over right on an extended trip. This place is beautifully appointed, quiet and relaxing. Wonderful attention to detail. We’ll stay again for sure.

Jordan and Courtney were really super hosts.  Very accommodating when we had a need; very quick to communicate.  The house is wonderful, the room was spacious and just what we needed.  Porches on both sides of our unit, outside picnic tables downstairs.  Amazing view and sounds of the river.The walking bridge was a minute walk and downtown just a few minutes more.Highly recommend.

Wow! The Goldsmith Inn exceeded all expectations and is one of the loveliest, most peaceful places I have ever stayed in. We are here only one night as we travel back home, but we would come back to Missoula and stay here. We had apartment 3, and couldn't be happier with the porch, and river out our door. Absolutely splendid.

This place was right on the river. We fell asleep to the sounds of water rushing by. Beautiful. We stayed here on our way back to Seattle from Kansas City, MO. We underestimated the time it would take to get from Yellowstone to Missoula and arrived very late - 2am in fact. They were so nice and accommodating.Great place to stay!!

The only fault I can find with Goldsmith’s is that they were only available for four nights when I came to Missoula!
The bed is comfy, the pillows fine, the water hot and the towels fluffy. Our rooms were spotlessly clean.  The kitchen was a nice touch for making a pot of coffee each morning and storing dinner leftovers for the next day’s lunch.
But the high point is the location. Being right on the river means you can let the babbling Clark Fork lull you to sleep. You can set on your private deck and watch fly fishermen casting their flies as other folks float down the river. Missoula has an excellent trail system and you’re right on it. We enjoyed several walks along the river.  Downtown and the excellent Pearl Café are but a few blocks away.
Sadly, they tell me they’re converting the house into individual apartments and it will no longer be available for short-term rental.

The hotel is very cute homey and clean. The quality of business was there however I’d like to focus my review on the customer service I received. My first impression was based on a call I received on my way to the Inn by the gentleman working to make sure that I was finding my way okay. I thought that was very nice! On arrival I was greeted at the door. My husband booked the cheapest room but I was moved to a nicer room with a view of the river because it was open and the man working thought “why waste the view” I hadn’t even seen my room yet and felt so taken care of. The room by the way was great! I was given helpful directions for my evening plans and advised accurately to take the nicer half of the walking path. Thanks for that! Breakfast the next morning was very open ended - no pressure to eat with everyone, he fixed me a home cooked plate and let me take it up to my room with me which I SUPER appreciated in my hungover antisocial state. Checkout was leisurely given that no one was expected to check into my room that evening. I can’t give this place a great enough review. 5000/10 - WILL definitely be staying again.

Home Sweet Home - AMAZING service

Comfortable clean room in a stately home, right on the river. Breakfast affords a million-dollar view of the Clark's Fork and the footbridge across which leads to the University. Professional friendly staff. I can't say enough good about this place. We stayed five nights, so I really feel I got a good sense of the place.

Location, Service, Homey atmosphere in the best possible way.

We found this gem located across the river from the University on the internet.  It was a great find.  We also had the room on the third floor.  We slept with the windows open all night listening to the river.  The room is actually the entire third floor and would be ideal for a family. One room has two twin beds and a balcony deck, and the other room has a queen bed and a small family area, and bath.  The breakfast was outstanding and the folks we met were very friendly.  We certainly hope to return.

Fantastic view and the nicest people

This is in a lovely older building. We wanted a river view so we were upgraded to the top floor where there was loads of space (ideal for a family). The Inn overlooks the river which we loved, and we could hear the river through our open windows. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast the next morning was a excellent and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay

Clean, quiet, comfortable and all right on the river between the  University and the great downtown area. Innkeepers were awesome. It’s just a short walk over the bridge to the Grizzlies’ football stadium and what an experience that was ! Love the Inn, the football, and all the fun great people of Missoula ! 

Perfect!

My husband and I selected Goldsmith's Bed and Breakfast because it was close to a concert venue and are we glad we did. The staff is helpful, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. The rooms are clean and lovely with a wonderful atmosphere. The breakfast is delicious, and the house itself was is so very charming and has a gorgeous view of the river from the porch. If only 10 stars were available, I would give this B & B an 11!  It has a very relaxed and homey ambiance, you will not be disappointed!
