Small property, old, needs updating but very clean, no bugs, lots of restaurants nearby and stores nearby. Parking is small but we parked reverse to make exiting easy.

As long as people are half-way decent and kind, this goes a long long way with me. The three people I interacted with were likely from the same family. They were apologetic when things did not work, willing to provide extras where they could with cheerfulness (an extra pillow, etc). The room was clean. The AC worked. If I needed something clarified, they clarified it. I will happily use this hotel in the future.

No Frills. Friendly.

My husband and myself and 2 small kids stay location was great we walked over to memorial park perfect for families location is great a gas station across the way a mc donalds and a pub in walking distance  on the bus line. OUR room was clean and everything was in excellent order and to be expected. Staff was attentive and courtesy we will definitely be back when we are back in houston. Thank you all so much

Lovely stay, spot on price

I stayed here on my arrival in Texas and before I left. Its about 25 minutes drive from the airport and 15 from city centre. Staff are very friendly and there is good parking. I asked for a room on the second level and it was quite. Rooms are spacious with TV, fridge, microwave, bathroom and good WIFI. There are a couple of restaurants and bars in walking distance and also a very nice park.

Good place to start a road trip of Texas

We were able to secure world series tickets at the last minute and needed  place to stay.  Unfortunately, other hotels were employing "dynamic pricing" (gauging other words) and the Scottish Inn hotel gave us a reasonable price and good service.  The hotel was clean and quiet. Outstanding place to stay

World Series savior

I stayed here for three nights for a work trip during Super Bowl weekend, and was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations.  The price was right, the room was clean, the location was good and the staff was extremely accommodating (they even let me come to the front desk to print out some materials I needed for work).  If you're on a budget and looking for a well-priced motel, you won't be disappointed!

Safe hotel, friendly staff

The staff was very polite and welcoming.  Service was great.  The location is the best . It's in downtown close to shopping and restaurants.  The room was clean and comfortable. The parking lot was safe and well lit. Great place to stay.  Very affordable

If you're looking for a hotel in a very nice area that isn't super expensive. This location is for you. The room was very clean and comfortable. I'd recommend Westcott Scottish inns.
