Smooth check in, friendly staff.  Helpful. Will stay there on my next trip.

It is convenient.  I liked it when the staff remembered to put out some Little Cuties for breakfast.

Check in went well and they allowed pets so that’s awesome! There is a dog park down the road too which was super convenient

We loved staying here. We were surprised it was immediately next door to the Gering Civic Center where we attended a reception. We loved our room. It was tasteful and comfortable. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. It is totally walkable to downtown. Parks nearby. Lots of trees. Safe. We were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. We will stay here again when we come to Gering.

The rooms are very clean but the staff is a little unfriendly. Not sure if they have lots of criminal issues but they questioned everything I was giving them for a credit card and also when I asked for an extra towel I was questioned again with there should only be 2 people in the room. I had to explain that my wife needed one for her hair

Room was clean and bright. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the provided bags for the ice. The breakfast was tasty but could have had more options (maybe sausage or bacon, fried potatoes or biscuits and gravy). One thing that stood above ALL others is that they did NOT use paper plates, or plastic utensils. The had glass plates,  cups and regular utensils. What a great personal touch!!

If it were not for breakfast I would rate them higher. There was no sausage, biscuits or gravy. Just eggs and toast some sweet breads and yogurts. The orange juice contain was empty both mornings. The gallon milk jug sat in the frig with less than a cup in it. We saw the staff bring a table forks she had washed before coming to the dining room making me think they were short on silverware. Second morning we looked around and decided to skip breakfast. The room was clean, and comfortable. We liked it very much. Location pleasant and in a good area. The breakfast was our only disappointment.

Hotel is in a convenient location near the Scotts Bluff National Monument and Chimney Rock while also having several restaurants within a walkable distance. The staff were all very friendly and helpful whenever I had questions or needed assistance with anything such as when I needed a new keycard for my room. My room was very clean and well-kept and I also enjoyed using the fitness center, particularly the elliptical machine. This is the perfect hotel for a solo traveler on a budget who desires a clean, roomy, studio apartment-like room/suite after a long day of hiking and sightseeing.

Monument Inn is very close to Scotts Bluff National Monument. The Inn was clean, and the room  was large (two queen beds) with microwave oven, mini refrigerator etc. The hotel is situated on a quiet street with pleasant grounds. The hotel receptionist was friendly and helpful. There are a few restaurants nearby, and food supplies and gasoline within a couple miles.

Very convenant to Scotts Bluff National Monument

Rooms were clean, Beds were comfy. The only real complaint is the breakfast. I stayed for 3 days and everyday it was the same hot breakfast, scrambled eggs, French toast or you could make a waffle. A couple kinds of cereal and instant oatmeal. You had orange juice or coffee to drink. Would of been nice to have a meat or change it up the hot breakfast to something else. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and clean.

This hotel was in a great location for visiting the Scotts Bluff monument. I had a queen bed suite and the room was comfortable. The refrigerator was larger than you typically find in a hotel room. The bed was slightly odd. It reminded me of a mattress in a pullout sofa, but I slept well. I would stay here again.

This property is conveniently located near Scotts Bluff monument, which we visited earlier in the day. We were happy to get a first floor room and even happier when we discovered how delicious the complementary breakfast in the morning was. They even use actual plates and silverware rather than disposable.

I was impressed by how clean the room was. It is relatively spacious for a hotel room with a kitchenette and sofa as well as a table to eat at and play games on. The bed was only OK, not especially comfortable. The property is well-kempt. There are dining options in the neighborhood, though we drove to Scottsbluff and ate at Backaracks Bar & Grill -- which I can recommend.
