208 reviewsI had a protracted problem with a flat tyre on a rental car. The rental company were of very little help or assistance but I did finish up at Kwikfit Plus on Southampton Road, Salisbury, SP1 1LE. The hire company had not given authority for KwikFit to repair my tyre although I had been told to take the car there. This particular branch was obviously dramatically understaffed and the trainee manager -AMY WOOLDRIDGE - was working exhaustively to keep things running. We had been without the car for almost 24 hours and were advised by Amy that they could not do our repair, even with authorization, because of lack of staff, until the following afternoon. At this point - the hire company having told me I needed to travel to Southmapton to get a replacement car if I wanted one - Amy took pity on me and left what she was doing and changed the tyre herself. She was a delight to work with and an angel for seeing how distressed I was getting. Amy, thank you, you saved a family holiday. KwikFit, you need to give her a bonus both because of her work ethics and empathy to a customer. I would definitely go back to that branch if i ever had a problem while in that area again.
