Omni Berkshire Place

Our family just returned from the most magical stay at The Omni Berkshire in NYC, and I genuinely cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel and their incredible staff. We were visiting for my daughter Ella’s birthday, and from the moment we arrived at 11am, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. I simply asked if there was any chance we could get into our suite early, and not only were we accommodated immediately, but the gentleman at the front desk went above and beyond by offering us the option to stay in their FAO Schwarz Suite since our room wasn’t ready yet. I was even invited to preview the room beforehand, which was such a thoughtful touch. From that moment on, we were personally taken care of by Danielle, who truly made the stay unforgettable. We had purchased the American Girl Doll packages for both of our kids, and even so, she went out of her way to make them feel extra special. Since it was Ella’s birthday, Danielle surprised her with a beautiful bouquet of balloons and her American Girl doll bed, then personally walked us up to the suite. She brought additional toys for the kids to enjoy, left a handwritten birthday note for Ella, and arranged a special dessert to celebrate. She even made sure my son didn’t feel left out and gifted him a special toy of his own. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine warmth set the tone for the entire stay. Beyond that, every single staff member we encountered—from the two gentlemen at breakfast, to the three amazing doormen, to the room service attendant, to the front desk associate who greeted us and introduced us to Danielle—was friendly, welcoming, and sincerely invested in making sure we were having a great stay. I’ve stayed in many high-end hotels over the years, but this was by far the best service experience I’ve ever had. Every person went out of their way to be thoughtful, attentive, and kind. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated for the season, and my kids were over the moon getting to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, listen to the carolers before the tree lighting, and enjoy the cookies and hot chocolate afterward. It all added to the magic of the weekend and created memories we’ll treasure forever. Thank you to the entire Omni Berkshire team for making my daughter’s birthday so incredibly special. Your hospitality, warmth, and commitment to the guest experience is unmatched. We cannot wait to return!
