This house is in Powick close to Worcester. It has been restored to its roots in the 1700’s. No stone was unturned to keep its originality and encompassing modern requirements. The owner and renovator, Jackie is a perfect host with a lot of pride in her accomplishment and rightly so! If it wasn’t for the breakfast that is included I would have stayed a considerable time longer in the most comfortable bed I have slept in, in years. If you are in the Worcester/Malvern area we recommend the Daybrook House. If you are into Morgan Cars they are made by hand, less than 5 miles away, plus this is Elgar Country and the Shaw Theatre is in Malvern.

Booked for a weekend break and wasn't disappointed at all. The house is beautiful, welcoming and very quaint. Jacqui the owner was very accommodating,very friendly and nothing was too much. The rooms were very clean and beautifully kept and decorated and very cosy. Breakfast was lovely and served at a time of your choosing. Overall a fantastic weekend break and we would definitely visit again.

This is a lovely 300 year old property wonderfully restored and full of antiques.  A lovely small garden and off road car parking. Great Breakfast. 
Excellent access to Worcester centre with bus stop just around the corner. Also easy discover the Malverns and surrounding areas. Many NT properties within a short drive. Dont miss a visit to Edward Elgar’s birth place. 
A busy road can be a touch busy during the day but all fully double glazed and it did no trouble us.

This place is a little gem. The interior design really enhances the character of this old house. All the hard work that went into renovation certainly paid off. The rooms and public areas were spotlessly clean. 

We visited at the weekend so had ample time to enjoy a hearty breakfast all freshly prepared for us. The fresh fruit and marmalade were delicious.

We're just looking for an excuse to return.

stayed 2 nights as we had travelled down for a wedding. 2 rooms for famiy. lovely house and old and quirky. the beds were so comfy. breakfast was lovely and the host allowed my daughter who was staying about 4 miles away to have breakfast with us on the second morning. The only fault I had was it is very close to a busy road and as I am used to only hearing owls at night I didnt sleep too well. second night it was quieter and was fine. It was handy for the wedding and for eating out on the first night. we would stay again if in the area.

One of the best stays we’ve had in a B and B . The house itself is beautiful , decorated and furnished with lots of thought . Has a really comfortable feel and the owner makes you feel very welcome . Breakfast was served in a lovely little dining area , with cereals , yoghurt and fruit on offer as well as a cooked breakfast . Host is very attentive and sociable and makes sure you have everything you need . 
There is a bus stop right outside the property with regular buses going into Worcester . 
We came to do the Worcester Christmas market but would like to do Worcester in the summer . We will definitely stay here again when we do .

Daybrook House is a really interesting place to stay with the loveliest of hosts.  The house is full of delights, mostly antique fitting in well the the age of the property, with the odd quirky surprise...especially in the showers!  The bed was very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean.  Jackie was very friendly and is an excellent cook...breakfast was really good both mornings.  She is knowledgable about the area and had restaurant recommendations.  If you don’t want to drive into Worcester there is a bus stop literally outside with buses every 15 mins during the day, less frequent in the evenings.  We only saw the garden in the winter but there were still plenty of birds in it.  I imagine it’s a riot of colour in the spring and summer.  Would recommend staying here to anyone wanting a break in Worcester!
