The OT is a home away from home, with lovely rooms and an awesome menu, what more do you want? Maybe a good selection of beers and very friendly barstaff? Well tick, tick. 5 stars

I stayed at the OT for business and the location was both convenient for Wisbech and in a quiet area. The room was big, clean and well presented, shower was double size and hot, staff were welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. I would have stayed for dinner if I could, but maybe next time. Highly recommended.

Exceptional 2 night stay, great menu and quality ingredients, super comfy bed and pillows, spacious room well equipped. A contender to win 4 in a bed

FIRST class restaurant 5 star food second time,  went in the summer had the Sunday roast 5 star +. Returned Saturday night starters mains and sweets 5 star +++++++ my son's birthday meal    THE VERY VERY BEST.  Staff so good compassionate about the food and the service

Cant find any faults with the stay, Food was great, staff very helpful and cheerful Will use again

The hotel is about 6 miles outside of Wisbech and is easy to drive into Wisbech as you are not stuck at the A47 bypass for long.The food is excellent and plenty of drinks to choose from.

Staff so nice. Dinner was very good. Best fish and chips I’ve had in England. Room was fine and clean but I never could get the bedside lights to work even after asking. Not sure it deserved what we paid for it but that might be the going rate in the area

I was meet by friendly staff.The room was very clean , and cleaned each day to a high standard.I ate there each next ( 3 night ) the food was at a wonderful standard, the breakfast was at a very high standard too.Lovely place TY room 6

Always great food and a friendly service.  Well worth a trip out the food is always delicious. We have been going for years for date nights, family meals and birthdays and have never been disappointed. Always great portions I have to have a dessert take away.

We struggled to find anywhere local to Wisbech at short notice, and luckily got the last room at the slightly quirky Oliver Twist. It is just off the main road so not somewhere one would find just driving thru. 
It was clean, with a comfy bed and nice en-suite with great shower. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough.  Dinner was good ( although very limited wine choice) and the full English brekky excellent.
We would definately return if in the area, much nicer than any Premier Inn because of the staff and food.

A little gem

Okay, first the positive…. All the staff very, very friendly, food excellent: home made, good quality and good portions. Room for the night very pleasant, shower very good, bed comfortable. 
Just three comments: You need some blinds in the windows, curtains let too much light in. WiFi coverage is frankly awful in this day and age. Lastly, my room had an abundance of small fruit flies during my stay (quite a few in the bar for breakfast too). Fix these points to get 5 stars 👍
Saying that, I will gladly return if I’m in the area again.

Food is excellent and there is a decent variety to cater for different tastes.
The friendliness of the staff is second to none, and I can thoroughly recommend to

Top class food, top class service

Lovely friendly establishment, I've stayed many times over the years and have always been well looked after and remembered even when I only stay once or twice a yr.  The rooms are spacious, warm and have all the nice touches, although not many and get booked up quickly. Food menu has plenty of options, well cooked with decent portions.

I was fortunate enough for great friends of mine to book a table for four at this quite amazing country inn. We were warmly greeted by three well presented staff who clearly took pride in their appearance. First impressions count. After serving us drinks we were shown to our table by Chloe. Chloe was so cheerful and polite and she was thoroughly professional. So many youngsters could learn heaps from Chloe. Our starters arrived promptly and together and it was agreed that they were delicious and appealing to the  eye. Our main courses were beyond good! I had a steak and it was the best I’ve ever eaten. The chips were proper chips and everything else was fresh, locally sourced and prepared and cooked to perfection. Two of my table had sorbets to finish. I didn’t have room for a dessert even though I have a great appetite! I’m booking another table for a Sunday lunch as I know my guests and I will be very well looked after. I cannot recommend the Oliver Twist Country Inn highly enough. Thank you to everyone there that made our time so good. John, John, Julie and Dawn!

You Won’t Be Disappointed!

Like home from home. Nothing too much trouble from the owners. Initially we were booked for inside the inn but I struggle with stairs and without hesitation they changed us to an downstairs/outside room. Although quite close to a main road, it was beautifully peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, all fresh and good quality ingredients. We will definitely be staying here again . Highly recommended

Absolutely faultless service and amazing food. I had the corn fed chicken and my husband had the fillet steak. The steak was cooked exactly as asked and the chicken was delicious. We shared the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and my husband (who seriously orders this whenever he sees it!) said it was one of the best ones he'd had. 

Amazing! 

Being  fairly local to this Inn it has become our go to restaurant. We have been there
on multiple occasions ranging from family get-togethers, birthdays and Christmas dining.
I cannot fault the service or the friendliness of the staff from the time you step inside up to the time you leave.
The food is of excellent quality and the quantity leaves little room for much else in one sitting. The menu is varied to cater for and suit all tastes.
I would thoroughly reccommend anyone in the area to visit and try their fare.

John Kelly and the team go out of there way to make your visit amazing and whether popping in for a drink and a catch up or having fabulous food either in the bar or the roomier restaurant for those special occasions for all your family and friends to have a great time
