We had a lovely stay at Westbury House, Jo was lovyand very welcoming. The room was a good size clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and cooked to perfection and the bread was delicious. Would highly recommend. Definitely would return

What a great time we had at Windermere and Westbury house even though it rained and what a great stay at this fabulous b and b the room we had (room 3) was very spacious and clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are 10/10 beautiful I couldn’t recommend this b and b enough if you’re visiting Windermere the hosts Jo and Alan were great will definitely visit Windermere again and definitely stay here thanks for a great stay Jo and Alan look forward to seeing you again

Jo was a fantastic host. The superb breakfast certainly set you up for the day. The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfy & overlooked the park at the front. There was on street parking, if no spaces, the car park was across the road. The B & B is ideally located, with the bus stop at the end of the road & the train station about 5/10 minute walk.  Would definitely recommend a stay here & we will certainly be back again when we are next in Windermere. Thanks again Jo.

The was one of the most cozy b&b we have ever stayed at. We have stayed in 40 hotels this year alone, and Jo made our stay one of the most wonderful experiences. If I am in the lake district I know I will come back here. Thanks again.

Jo & Alan were fantastic hosts! Lovely breakfast, Jo couldn't do enough for us! Nothing was ever too much for her! :) The rooms were lovely, nice & clean. Good selection of tea coffee ect. Great little b&b in a beautiful area. Parking was fab, right outside the b&b.

House was accesible to train station, public bus and a park across the house. Host was knowleable on various sights and eateries.

Nice single room. Breakfast amazing. And double bed in single room 👍🏼 jo the host was really friendly but not intrusive. Really made my holiday with advice about things to do during my stay. Price was great. And if your thinking that because price is good then its budget standard then think again. Was a great standard of accommodation, food and service. Highly recommend.

Our host was very gracious and welcoming. The room was large and very comfortable. We loved how close it was to the train station and restaurants. It was easy to start long hikes in the area. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay

Fantastic stay!!

Great time! 👍🏼

The room was compact but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was exactly what we expected and not disappointing in anyway. The corridor and stairway was not well lit. My only bugbear was that the property was listed as free parking but in reality, it is street parking and the luck of the draw if you can find a space nearby. I think free parking should mean that the owner can provide somewhere to park. This is more an issue for Hotels.com than for the property owner.

Enjoyable Friendly Welcoming Stay.

My daughter stayed at this b and b and she couldn’t have been treated with more care and consideration. She is young and not very street wise, yet the owners cared for her like she was their own. 

The room was beautiful and so spotless! Absolutely beautiful. Every day the room was serviced to a high degree. 

I just want to say thank you to these lovely people that cared for a young uni student. I am a fussy person but I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

OMG amazing owners

This is a great little guest house in a great location. Handy for whatever you’re getting up to in Windermere. 

The hotel is spotless and has all the facilities you need. Breakfast was delicious and me being veggie was no issue. 

Jo is lovely and nothing is too much trouble. 

I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m staying in the area.

Lovely little B&B. Jo was so friendly and welcoming, a fantastic host. The room was clean and had everything I needed and most importantly the bed was very comfortable! Breakfast every morning was delicious. I wish I had booked a longer stay. Thank you so much for having me, I will definitely be back.

Jo was very welcoming. She was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Our cosy room was clean and comfortable with plenty of storage space. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was superb. I would definitely recommend this very friendly hotel and if in the area again, which incidentally is beautiful, I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay in very beautiful area

The room was comfortable and clean, the service from the owners was exemplary, and the breakfast was well cooked.However the best thing by far was the shower. If you travel a lot then you know the trials of hotel showers, even some of the best have mediocre ones, not so at Westbury House. Not only was the water fantastically hot, there was full pressure even without using the massage setting. To be able to come back from a day of scaling the fells and have a shower that blasts off all the grime and sweat of the day is absolutely glorious.
