The tulip tree guest house is very close and easy to reach from Wilmslow train station and it is just 4 minutes ie. one stop into the Airport. The owner is very friendly and helpful she gave us soap and clean towels in abundance. The house is very clean and the bed very comfortable, the mattress being Vi Sprung, which is hand made. It is very quiet and peaceful area with lots of safe parking. Where in the country can you jump out of bed and be in the Airport in just six minutes! The land lady has lived in the area for over 40 years and is a font of local information which she is very happy to share.
