This is a wonderful manor hotel in the Welsh countryside. The staff were wonderful and so was the food. The room was spacious and well appointed. The only draw back is there is no lift so you will have to carry your luggage up stairs.

Beautiful surroundings in a country setting, lovely views all aound, good breakfast. would stay here again.

Llwyngwair manor is a truly amazing holiday park.The grounds are kept in excellent condition the staff are friendly and welcoming it’s a great place to stay and caters for young and old with excellent food and activities

Nice hotel with lovely staff. Food excellent and reasonably priced. Room is clean and comfy. Lacks a view but we did book last minute and it’s not really an issue for us.The grounds are lovely too and very quiet. All in all we are very happy with our stay.

The family room in the eaves was perfect for us. The meals were great. For Coastal Path Walkers, it's a long hike from Newport. There's a lovely (but not very direct path) just north of the Iron Bridge.

Wonderful place! We extended our stay since it was also a good launching point for sightseeing

We had a lovely stay here! Our travel plans were disrupted so we arrived very late in to the night, everything was left out for us and even late checkout was arranged for us. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Room was so cosy and warm and the location was beautiful! 15/10.

Lovely room, good shower, plenty of tea/coffee in room, heated towel rail that actually works!  Very comfortable bed! Excellent breakfast available at 7am. Friendly and helpful staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Lovely, peaceful location, set several hundred yards from the road, with a pretty garden and large carpark. Very happy with our first floor room - very comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Newport Sands beach, Newport, Parrog and the stunning Pembrokeshire coastal path are very close

Lovely place to stay

A fabulous experience, staff and owners provided superior service and support. The only thing I as slightly older person was that having the bathroom and toilet upstairs was difficult. Just check the location of room before booking and be clear about what you need. Great location. Fabulous food in house.

A great place to stay in a great area.

I would say clean enough, nothing wrong with the room cleanliness, although shower quite small. Walls are quite paper thin, so you will hear people walking and complete conversations in the room above. I found the key in the left in door on arrival somewhat strange. My view out of the window was of a pile of junk but I kept the blinds closed for the duration of the stay. I wasn’t aware it was through a holiday park and hence the manor bar and facilities get used by people staying in the campsite/lodges/static caravans. Otherwise it was a relatively pleasant stay for the night.

Pleasant stay

The value for money was excellent, the breakfast (included in the price) was very good. Freshly cooked to order and served in a comfortable dining room. Evening menu was good, very large portions!.This is a historic building be prepared for a labyrinth of stair cases and fire doors, quite difficult if your carrying luggage. Room was comfortable with ensuite shower.

We had an excellent weekend, had a three night stay and everything was brill.   Room comfortable, clean.  Its set in wonderful grounds, lovely walks.  Close to beach.Food in bar was lovely breakfast excellent and drink prices were good.  Staff really friendly and helpful.  This was our second stay here will defo be going back.

First class

One day stay in the manor, the food was excellent and the room was very clean. Only 2 small niggles, taps in the bathroom were useable but had pieces missing from them. The bed is on the small side for me, we are used to King size but these are smaller and on the hard side but didnt detract from our sleep but if you are 6ft you may want to check for bigger. Overall for the price in the area its is very good.

Nice stay, good price

We as my husband and myself could not fault any part of our stay, the room was perfect as was all staff very obliging the food was out standing . The cleanliness of every part of the manor was the highest you could wish for, I would recommend anyone who would like a relaxing stay away to go here as we will be going back. Thank you so so much. PERFECT!!

Cannot fault the hotel in any way at all . It was comfortable ,spotlessly clean and the food was excellent quality .The staff were polite ,helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible . We will return to enjoy the facilities agin in the future Thank you everyone for a very enjoyable stay

Superb quality

Room was clean and warm on arrival, bathroom freezing cold , both bedroom and bath room freezing cold in the morning , cant turn on any heating or adjust, was asked to stip bed before i let room , never been asked to do that before .No members of staff on check-in or check-out.Over all a good room and good sleep.

A lovely stay, the Mano is very pretty. Staff friendly and accommodating. Love the fact that in the hotel the tv had Netflix on it already as we have little ones so our evenings usually end early to get them to bed. Breakfast was lovely, evening food was ok could be better. Lovely play park and golf and bowling on sight too :)
