The employees we're very child friendly. Great service!

Return visit. The hotel is at a good location. You know what you are getting and the offer is quite satisfactory. The chance to opt out of a cooked breakfast is a plus.

Travelled over from Jersey for a Swimming Competition. In total a group of 24 people. All Staff could not have been more helpful, from front of desk, restaurant, bar, chefs, we cannot fault them at all. 

Very close to Winchester centre, easy 15 min walk. Close to m way access.
Very helpful staff, clean rooms, excellent pre visit communication. Breakfast service was excellent, friendly staff. Would stay again.

Overnight midweek break with my wife by way of a birthday celebration for yours truly. This PI is very easy to find straight off the M3 and it is just minutes drive from Winchester centre. The town seems to be buzzing at the moment, lots of restaurants and bars with lots of people about.
Our room was clean, same layout as others which we like, if I was to mark them down on anything there are a few mould spots in the bathroom tiling joints and stains on the bathroom ceiling...but not gross in any way but could probably be dealt with before they get worse. The bathroom is the impact room in these hotels, get those immaculate and you can worry less about the room! Other than that minor thing, nice hotel, friendly staff and clean.....and, of course, the wonderful nights sleep on those glorious mattresses they buy! Never had a bad one yet.....

The only criticism was the fact you had to switch the bathroom light on from the room, this tended to disturb the other occupant. Apart from that, fantastic great value hotel, plenty of free parking and a short walk to the city centre. This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel, says it all really. 

Good car parking, early check-in in appreciated  very friendly welcome.  Premier Plus room was very clean  quiet  coffee machine was a nice touch.  Bed very comfortable, excellent shower.  Breakfast was satisfactory.  Ten minute walk to town centre.  Overall very pleased.

Great stay from booking in to checking out, just what I needed. Great food hot evening meal and all you can eat breakfast who could want more. Team were friendly and were happy to chat when I was about. Thank you Winchester I will stay again,

AMAZING SERVICE!! The staff were all lovely. Food was great and a sparkling clean room. Lovely hotel with all the necessary facilities and a team with a great attitude who are always on hand to help.  Will definitely stay again!!

The staff a Winchester premiership Inn we’re very helpful we did have a small problem when signing in but was quickly resolved be the gentleman on reservation.

The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay, breakfast was excellent a lot to choose from and it catered for everyone’s need.
I will be staying there again as we visit our granddaughter ever so often.

Good sized comfortable room with everything you need for a short stay. Comfy beds, lovely soft bedding, nice warm powerful shower and a large TV to watch a movie before bed after a long day exploring. The Breakfast was extra but worth it, I filled up so much on the all you can eat Full English I didn't need to spend on food in the city! There was ample parking and I could leave the car at the hotel so I could walk into the city. I love walking but it is a good 10-15 minute walk into the city centre. But for the price, you can't grumble!

The only real negatives I would point out is its not really "close" to the city centre as such and there is talk of charging for parking. There is no reason you'd park here unless you were staying here. Parking should therefore be included in the price of your stay. I think if they start to charge for parking I think reservations will drop sharply!

A comfy bed, warm shower and good breakfast, what more can you ask for!?!

We enjoyed a good night’s rest at Premier Inn. The hotel is well located, situated only a 5-minute drive from the centre of Winchester and its showpiece cathedral. Our bed was very soft and comfortable, and there’s all the conveniences I expect to be in a hotel room, including hairdryer (and very welcome lighted mirror), iron and ironing board, a kettle and even a mini coffee machine that takes Nespresso-type pods. 

Our bathroom was small but clean with a rainforest shower and lovely fragrant Bayliss & Harding body wash is provided. Our shower had a glass door that I was pleased could be shut all the way to the wall, meaning there could be no leakage from the shower. One criticism would be that my towel was very scratchy so that needs to be replaced. 

We opted for the continental breakfast. The porridge, hot croissant and coffee I had were enjoyable, although the incredibly bitter berries let the fresh fruit selection down.

Would I recommend this hotel? Yes.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel recently for NYE. The only reason I didn't add another star is that at the bar on NYE just after midnight we wanted to buy one more drink and the man behind the bar told us it was closed, even though it was clearly open. As we were walking away a lovely gentleman came out of the office and asked us if we wanted to buy a drink from the bar we replied yes and that his colleague had told us it is closed. The staff member then informed us that the bar is open 24 hours and that he would serve us, so we were a bit bamboozled by the rude approach of the other staff member who stood behind the bar and refused us. 
Other than that the room was really nice, we had a premier plus room and it looked like it had been recently renovated and had all of the amenities that we would need for our short stay. The breakfast was really nice and the staff was really friendly and helpful throughout the stay, minus that one gentleman. 
If we were in Winchester again we would definitely stay at this Premier Inn again and recommend it to others. 


Nice and Comfortable Room

Great location, close to amenities. Room was comfortable and clean. 1 double and 2 singles for kids, plenty of room for us all for one night. Bathroom was clean. Quiet hotel. Staff friendly. Good check in. Car park was free and easy to manage. Great breakfast with kids eat free a bonus. Not rushed, we met family there and all enjoyed a leisurely breakfast. Overall I would definitely recommend for a family stay. 

Great family room stay

We stayed for one night while visiting the Winchester Christmas fairy. Not far from the centre of Winchester and free parking. Everyone working at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Our room was well equipped and quiet. Both our dinner and breakfast were very good excellent choices. 
A good choice for an overnight stay or longer.
