To say this ‘hotel’ is discussing is an understatement. The room was covered in dust, there was dry blood on the wall, the curtains were stained, the walls were covered in mould and it looked like it hasn’t seen a clean for a while. I’m not asking for much with a £43 room but I was absolutely appalled at the state, I don’t think it’s had a deep clean in a while. If I hadn’t have had a drink yesterday afternoon, I would have driven home after my gig.
The shared bathroom...where do I start!! The floor was covered in crap and smoking ash! The floor hasn’t had a good clean for a long time, the shower was filthy and again, dried bloody smeared over the wall.
To turn the TV on, it was a shared extension lead with the kettle but that in itself had its challenges as the TV didn’t have a remote control which is probably a good thing if you looked at the wiring and Electrical Testing out of date sticker!
As we were leaving this morning due to no longer being able to stay in those horrible conditions, the floor on the landing is worn out so I’m now sitting in A&E with a potential torn ligament.
You could not pay me enough  money to ever stay in that filth pit again! Please don’t ever book this hotel as you will be severely disappointed as the hygiene there is discussing!!!

Absolutely disgusting!!!

I was forced to stay here because of there non-refundable room policy despite requesting over a week before! I suppose it shows from their reviews why i shouldn’t have booked in the first place!
I wanted to cancel because its just too far away from where I was working to walk and not pay for taxis at the unsociable working hours. 

Firstly i was met by a staff member who was unfriendly and unhelpful and clearly didn’t want to be there. Then I actually missed this staff member when i was greeted by the even more unwelcoming room. 

I didn’t like the shared bathroom solution anyway but i didn’t have an option on my budget of my wasted almost £200. However the room was just over 5m2 with is barley a room, more of a closet. However much like the staff member the rest of the hotel felt like it didn’t want to be there also. Dirty walls, narrow corridors, creaky floors and actually a footprint on my bed as well as some lint or fluff on my sheets. 

I would never stay here again and I really would recommend anyone check all options before booking this terrible place.

THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING!

The location was great, literally 3 minutes walk from Bryngwyn Hall where I was attending an event, 15 minutes walk to the marina and city centre. 
The room was nice, at the beginning they gave me a different room from the one I paid (I booked the room with ocean view, but I got one with the only ocean to see was an ocean of concrete, ah). I told to the guy at the reception and he remedied immediately. He was friendly and helpful. The second room was the one I could see in the photo of my booking, smaller but with the view on the beach. Much better. The room itself was basic: one bed, sink, chair, small wardrobe, tv, kettle and coffe/tea. It definitely wasn't luxury and it felt a bit scruffy, but for the price I paid I was happy. The wi-fi worked well. I didn't use the tv at all so I can't talk about it. I didn't see a restaurant on the premises so I am not sure they offer a breakfast option at all.
It is not really a complain but make sure the room temperature is ok before 9:30pm: when I came back in the night the room was very hot; I tried to lower the radiator power but it didn't do any difference, the radiator was hot anyway. I suppose the lever was broken or something. It was late at night so I didn't go to the reception and ask for help because I had been told the reception would close for the night. I slept without a blanket and I was ok anyway.
Also the shared toilet was a bit dirty: this is not a complain on the guesthouse (as the toilet was clean when I arrived in the day), but on the guest who used and left it dirty (in the night)
One more note (not complain) : if you are taking a shower the switch to power it up is just outside the room. There is no note or sign pointing that out and I spent a couple of minutes trying to understand how to switch on the shower...

good experience

So having arriving at 9.30pm after a 5 hour drive to get the keys to room 6 which was by far the worst place I'd ever been in, filthy walls, filthy carpets and the smell was on another level, also dirty bed sheets like they hadn't been changed.. I so phoned the reception and told them, he politely understood and said it was a old building.. He moved me into room 9,which was far better than room 6 but let me tell you.. By far the worst room I've slept it but was tired from traveling.. Broken door lock, holes in walls, dirty bed sheets awful! If payday was Monday I wouldn't of stayed, would also like to say room 10 (next door) must be used as a crack den or maybe a hostel room full of beds, they up all night been loud and was on drugs, please people DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, How this place hasn't been shut down I don't know, oh and BTW a candle and fabric linen spray was my best freond for the stay! AVOID! I wouldn't go back there if it was free, 4 nights stay and not 1 bedsheets was changed. It won't let me upload photos as the files are too large.

AWFUL

I searched online for a hotel for my stay for 1 Adult and 1 Child, found this hotel for a triple room so went ahead and booked it.  Upon receiving the email confirmation I noticed that it was for 1 adult only, so I contacted the hotel only to be told they want an extra £25 even though I searched for 2 people and booked the triple room.   I tried to Jane my booking and they want me to pay for that booking.  I contacted the hotel within minutes of receiving my confirmation to let them know of the error.   Would not recommend, upon reviewing other reviews, sounds like not a nice hotel.  Beware, currently taking it further.
