Nice and tidy rooms with really quick checking in service and offered Great deals to go with the room roll on breakfast the best bit though was the great customer service from mel I stay away a lot for my job and Mel made my stay next time I come I'll definitely be on the look out for her! Every premier inn needs a Mel!

The host on reception 'Mel' was fantastic, I needed a few issues sorting and was not a problem for her to sort out for us. The rooms are tip top as usual and the breakfast was brilliant. Would definitely recommend and will be staying here again on our return to Sunderland

Just had a lovely comfortable stay here with everything you would expect for a Premier Inn. What really made the stay great was that all they staff in the Premier Inn and restaurant were so friendly and helpful.  Would recommend staying here just for that! 

Very nice and clean premier inn, room was large and the double bed was very comfortable. Check in was smooth and I'd like to say a special thank you to Lindsey on reception for sorting out a small problem with excellent efficiency.pub next door is good as was the food. 

Clean, friendly, all that you need in the room. Very comfortable bed and quiet nights. Excellent quaility of bed room facilities. Breakfast was great. Staff brilliant. A great place to stay. Would highly recommend as a good stop over hotel for Sunderland and surrounding area.

Sufficient parking spaces, room was clean and comfortable.  The staff were very friendly and welcoming - replacement teas/coffees etc were easy accessable, we have stayed here before and the standards have always been very good.

The 2 Ladies in the front Desk (Mel & Danielle) were extremely helpful and informative - They really did make my stay/experience enjoyable and problem free . I would have no hesitation in recommending this location to other colleagues 

From checking in to checking out, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the staff at the restaurant attached were amazing too, my children loved the soft play. We also left my daughters iPad in the room when we came home and the staff have been helpful in helping us get it back as we live 3 hours away. The family room was perfect for us, 2 adults and 3 children age 10,5 and 2.

Stay at this hotel alot it's in good location staff all make sure I've got extra pillows and fan when I stay rooms are very clean staff are very welcoming and friendly I've never had know problems staying at this hotel

Nice comfortable room, with that excellent bed! Road was pretty busy, but the soundproofing was very good - it was a lot quieter with the window closed.
Staff were friendly, there was plenty of parking and the location was handy for Newcastle or Sunderland; all in all there's not really much to say, but I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Great hotel very easy to find and just off the main road. Happily go back. So much nearby but you need to be able to drive. Comfy bed. The hotel staff were lovely.
 Restaurant is fab value for money but not all the staff were as friendly they could learn form the hotel staff, which was a shame. Maybe a bit lack of staff at times and the soft play wasn’t manned for the majority of the time we were in there.

We were in Sunderland to see the Mighty Swans play at the Stadium of Light. In our experience this is a very busy Premier Inn. The staff are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Special mentions for Daniel (who was a star in helping me change one of my bookings at the last minute), the male Sunderland supporter on reception over the weekend (sorry, not sure of your name), who offered excellent, friendly customer service also, the lady who was working overnight on the Saturday (again, apologies, I'm not sure of your name either), so helpful and personable service.
The restaurant was busy (we benefitted from the Meal Deals), again very friendly and helpful staff.....food good throughout.
Only downside was the noise.......to many guests hadn't read or ignored the plea to be quiet late at night, in the early hours.........
Overall though, we enjoyed very much.....if both Sunderland and the Mighty Swans are in the EFL next season, we'll be back!!
