Fernlea Guest House

Very comfortable. Great welcome from excellent hosts. Charming room spotless and tasteful. Good breakfast with wide choice. An easy walk to town centre. Fine for ferry travellers. Hosts very accommodating for travel times is early meal needed.

Just stayed here the one night, was able to check in early, lovely breakfast and warm friendly welcome from Lynn. A good central place to stay. The town centre is within walking distance but there is off street parking.

Stayed one night on way to Northern Ireland.  Hosts Lynne and Kenny make you feel really welcome. Room well furnished, bed comfy and the breakfast was great value at £5 a head. Would certainly recommend if in the area or going on the ferry from nearby Cairnryan.

We only stayed one night but wished we had more time in Stranraer at this guest house.
Lynn was very welcoming. The room was spotless, towels clean, fluffy and lots of them.
Breakfast was great and we had lots of options. Would definitely recommend this guest house.

Lyn makes you very welcome and gives lots of info on eating places in the area. A good selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and toast. But really good full cooked breakfast! Nice rooms and ensuites too.
