Its the second time we have stayed here and we have booked for next year already.
The breakfast is amazing the rooms are spotlessly clean and Mark and Carol cannot do enough for you. My Wife has got Coeliac disease and Carol catered for her even making little GF cakes, rocky road and flapjack for her and anyone else to help themselves to. Location is excellent, its 5 to 10 minutes walk to Newquay town centre. Plenty of room to park any size car on site. 5 minutes walk to Tolcarne Beach and same to local park. The Lanherne pub is 3 mins aways which serves food.

Our hosts Mark and Carole were wonderful with lots of anecdotes and helpful tips on where to go and the best routes to use. All of the food was made in-house including the bread and Carole would make cakes and leave them in the hall for guests to indulge in at their leisure which I did, the "rocky road" was brilliant. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the room was looked after every day. The furniture and decoration were quirky as many have mentioned but, they were quality items, nothing cheap or tacky here. Breakfast was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble or limited with multiple courses on offer with fresh fruit bowls, yoghurt, all sorts of cooked (those photos do not do it justice), cereals, juice, proper fresh coffee, and tea.  With only three rooms for hire in the place you never felt crowded out by other guests either and we were fortunate to be able to strike up a good comradery with those staying with us which added to the experience. The location is just on the edge of town, so it is a ten-minute walk and you are in the thick of things and the nearest beach is the same. Car Parking is good as they have their own three bays including one charging point for electric vehicles. Everything was of good quality. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent break away with the hubby!bedlam house was a very relaxing atmosphere quirky decor loved it! Carole and mark are very welcoming! Added extras freshly baked bread and cakes delicious. Beautiful breakfast and comfy bed. Thanks for a lovely stay shall certainly revisit when down Cornwall again

Fantastic stay, lovely friendly host's, great tasty breakfast and complementary cakes. Love this hotel the decor is so quirky.,and the hotel is situated in a convenient location for the town center and the beaches. We will definitely return abd recommend to family and friends. 

Fantastic stay at Bedlam, will definitely be returning when we visit Newquay.

B&B:
Lovely little B&B, all room ensuite, really unusual decor, which adds the quirk to the place. The beds are so comfy that it's like being home from home. Lovely and clean. The owners are such down to earth people that you couldn't wish to meet a nicer couple. Nothing was too much trouble and and questions were answered, and we got to learn some of the hidden gems, which was great. The breakfast was amazing in the morning and freshly cooked every morning. Whatever you wanted, there was plenty of choice. Homemade bread every morning and little homemade cakes to help yourself to each day was such a lovely touch.

Location:
The location was spot on, walking distance into the main town literally 5mins and your at the beach. There's everything from wetherspoons to coffee shops, tesco, amusements, and food places. 15 mins and you're into the main strip and towan beach them onto fistra Beach. Everything is walking distance from this gem of a place, even the zoo.

Can't recommend this place enough. I didn't want to leave. Definitely recommend and definitely would return. 

My friend and I stayed here for a nice getaway to Newquay, we stayed here 6 years ago we were excited to go back and try Bedlam house again! They did not disappoint. Everything was excellent from the room to the breakfast! The couple running the place are kind and very friendly! Would recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in Newquay!

Bedlam House has 3 rooms: 2 doubles and 1 twin,
I stayed in Pororoca, 4 nights - this is a twin bedded room with en suite shower, at the rear of the house, overlooking the rear garden.
Quirky - Soft beds, rustic dresser/table, small chest drawers, Rolls Royce 3/4 locker.
Both the room, en suite and bedding are spotlessly clean, with everything you need for your stay - TV, mirrors, towels, glasses, mugs, kettle, teas/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits/milk cartons and shower gel/moisturiser/hand wash.

Breakfast: Simply scrumptious!
Tea, fresh coffee, water, juice
Cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit
Full English breakfast or combination of items to your choice
Fresh bread baked daily - toasted 
Butter, jam, marmalade
You will never go hungry as the portions will see you through to tea time - Mark loves to give a mountain of muesli (Yorkshire portions)!

You are free to come and go as you please, 
There is also a very comfortable and welcoming lounge for the guests with a large TV.

It may be called “Bedlam”, but it’s simply a blissful house to stay at, a perfect location to see Newquay, close enough to walk to without being in the centre of the hubble. A really quirky individual house which is welcoming and comfortable - listening to the lions rumbled calls from nearby Newquay Zoo was lovely!

Mark and Carole go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and have a wealth of knowledge if you have any questions on the area.

Highly recommend and will definitely revisit.

Bedlam house is like a home from home, it's quirky and simply unique (good job Mark!) and perfect location for the beach and town; only a short walk away so no need for transport which is a bonus! Have honestly never felt so welcome and comfortable in any accommodation before and Caz and Mark are the perfect hosts, always on hand to answer any questions; surf boards and wetsuits are available to borrow if needed, netflix available in a beautiful lounge and breakfast is spot on and comes with the best cup of tea you will find anywhere that you stay - I promise, oh and the homemade bread for toast is pretty bloody tasty too!! Also - homemade cakes always available in the entrance hall! Thanks Caz, your carrot cake was AMAZING! I could keep going on about all the little touches you will find during your stay in this place but I would recommend anyone to book and find out for themselves !  Caz, Mark, we can’t wait to see you guys next year! Hope you see this and are keeping well, Nicole & Jonathan :) xx

Oh, and honestly there is nothing, and I mean nothing to dislike about staying here! The bed was a little soft for us personally but otherwise our stay was perfect - couldn’t of found a better place; the quirkiness and personal touch surely make you stand out from the rest!! Xx

Booked last minute as had arrived a day early for accommodation we had booked 🤦‍♀️🤣.
Very welcoming, bedroom and bathroom very spacious.
Close to town and beaches.
Couldn't find fault with anything.
Breakfast was plentiful, homemade toasted bread was delicious

  The hotel is located  in a  quiet road just a few minutes walk away  to the zoo and trenance gardens ,  Its also just a few minutes walk to the beach shops and bars ,  what a lovely quirky place , owners are lovely people  friendly and  made us feel at home . We stayed in the king room with beautiful large ensuite with walk in shower . Decorated in a wacky and novel style and spotlessly clean. Carol the owner bakes every day and leaves the guests to help themselves ( what a treat ) Fabulous breakfast cooked fresh every day and a great choice offered . Sad we had to leave but will be going back again as soon as we can .
